Jordan's hands were 9 and 3/4" in length (NY times article) in case you cared to know the wrist to finger tip measurement. I have not yet found the thumb to pinky measurement but when I do Jordan will be added to my detailed player measurement thread because his hands were basically as big as those of most of the NBA's largest centers which makes him a unique specimen in the company of Elgin Baylor, Connie Hawkins, and Julius Irving - all small guys with dinner plates for hands.

best part is he puts a lebron pic at the bottom as if hand sizes are supposed to match them together lmfao so sad

Truth. I'm sort of the opposite unfortunately. I wear size 13's at 6'3'' but my hands are small enough to not allow me to palm most basketballs. I envy those who can palm a rock with such ease.

Dude, I hate that ish so much, i'm 6'5, same size 13 shoe, yet I couldn't palm a basketball if my life depended on it. What makes me even more angry is seeing dudes that are like 5'9 palming that shit. Its just retarded to think that he doesn't practice his jumper. There is a reason why his jumpshot is not good and it is everything to do with his body structure, including his hands.

I have said it before and i will say it again. His whole game and movement is narrated by his huge wingspan and hands. When he goes for a jumpshot, he is left with too many tools at his disposal.

I can definitely see why he has a hard time nailing the jumper. The problem is also compounded by his slender build. Its like his arms and hands are so long, they take away from the consistency in his shot simply because his levers are so long in comparison to his body leaving a large margin for error.

I mean at the end of the day there is a reason why he is no good at jumpers. People will say that reason is cos he sucks, my reason is that he sucks because his physical body is not ideal for the jumper. So many players with longer winsgpan related to the size of their bodies and they shoot better than Rondo. He just don't have a good technique, and has horrible confidence in his shot.

Rondo's hands nor his wingspan are as big as Jordan's. They're bigger proportionately for his size, however. MJ had like a 6'11"-7' wingspan. And Rondo can't dream of doing some of the stuff MJ did with the ball in terms of palming it, though that can also be due to hand strength as opposed to size.

I remember going into a Foot Locker back in the day and they had a life sized imprint of Larry Bird's hands. They were HUGE. Any idea what his hand measurement is?

You know what's interesting? I've heard that the size of your middle finger in relationship to your pointer finger is related to the amount of testosterone you received in the womb. So, the theory is the larger the ratio the more athletic you are. Look at your hand.
