Harrison Barnes: If they put me at a 60
http://espn.go.com/blog/playbook/tech/post/_/id/1110/nba-prospects-predict-their-2k-ratings
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: Probably like 85.
.
:biggums:
Do any of these guys play 2K? They'll all be mid to high 60's. Low 70's maybe for the top 5 players.
Edit: Barnes obviously does. He's being modest to.
     at Gilchrist
MKG, Rivers and T-Rob are all waaaaay off. :oldlol:
Atleast Harrison Barnes gave himself an honest rating.
Tyler Zeller doesn't play 2k? What the **** does he do with his life?
HAHAHA MKG 85 good one. T-rob will be 72
it prob took mkg 7 mins to make that response. anyone whos heard him in an interview will agree.
it prob took mkg 7 mins to make that response. anyone whos heard him in an interview will agree.
LOL. THAT'S FVCKED UP HAHA.
it prob took mkg 7 mins to make that response. anyone whos heard him in an interview will agree.
:lol He's going to have some interviews on youtube throughout his career.
How about us predicting the top 10 pick's ratings?
Davis should be in the lower 70's.
A. Davis: High 70's
M Kidd-Gilchrist: low 60's mid 60's
B. Beal: Low 60's, mid 60's
D. Waiters: low 60's
D. Lilliard: mid 60's
H. Barnes: low/mid 60's
T. Ross: high 50's, low 60's
A. Drummond: high 50's, low 60's
A. Rivers: mid 60's
T.Robinson: mid 60's/low 70's
Of course Rivers over-rated himself :oldlol:
A. Davis: 76 -78
M Kidd-Gilchrist: 72 - 74
B. Beal: 70 - 72
D. Waiters: 70 - 72
T.Rob: 74 - 75
D. Lilliard: 68 - 70
H. Barnes: 72 - 73
T. Ross: 65 -67
A. Drummond: 67 - 69
A. Rivers: 64 - 66
A. Davis: High 70's
M Kidd-Gilchrist: low 60's mid 60's
B. Beal: Low 60's, mid 60's
D. Waiters: low 60's
D. Lilliard: mid 60's
H. Barnes: low/mid 60's
T. Ross: high 50's, low 60's
A. Drummond: high 50's, low 60's
A. Rivers: mid 60's
T.Robinson: mid 60's/low 70's
I think you're underrating them all by 5-6, no way anyone in the top 10 will be in the 50s.
I think you're underrating them all by 5-6, no way anyone in the top 10 will be in the 50s.
2K ratings are pretty strict. :confusedshrug:
Tyler Zeller: I actually don
:lol MKG, seems like a really fun dude
Kyrie Irving was a 76, the first pick btw.
A. Davis: 80 (John wall was 80 as a rookie i think)
M Kidd-Gilchrist: 74
B. Beal: 74
D. Waiters: 70
T.Rob: 74
D. Lilliard: 68
H. Barnes: 72
T. Ross: 65
A. Drummond: 65
A. Rivers: 68
Barnes seems like a really cool guy. Modest and well spoken.
Barnes seems like a really cool guy. Modest and well spoken.
He comes off a little too polished for me. Pretty obvious he has had a camera in his face for a long, long time.
Is that a bad thing?
Of course Rivers over-rated himself :oldlol:
i wonder what he'd rate his dad's classic teams character (if there is/was one).
i'm not sure what to think about them worrying what their rating would be in a video game. kinda funny but at the same time lame too.
Is that a bad thing?
Not necessarily a bad thing. He is obviously intelligent. He just seems like one of those 'canned responses' guys that will spit out a bunch of cliches... I seriously doubt his actual personality is in-line with what he puts out there.
Then again, that seems to be the goal of most athletes these days... The Jordan model.
What rating you think Valanciunas will get ?
Tyler Zeller doesn't play 2k? What the **** does he do with his life?

He was not only a basketball superstar, but also played on Washington High's tennis team for three years, and finished his high school career with a 3.99 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Study.
:coleman:
What rating you think Valanciunas will get ?
Big V will get a 75 - 77
I think you're underrating them all by 5-6, no way anyone in the top 10 will be in the 50s.

2K ratings are pretty strict. :confusedshrug:
I think Crimzon's right. 2K's ratings may sound strict but I think it has more to do with their switch over to a 25-99 scale a few years ago (in contrast to their former 50-99 scale), so some numbers that sound low or strict really aren't, we're just accustomed to them standing for a different value.
In 2K12, the only top ten pick to be rated in the 50's was Bismack Biyombo and he, along with Nikola Vucevic and Cory Jospeph, were the only players drafted in the first round to have overall ratings below 60 (at the beginning of the year. I don't know where they finished).
Here's a full look of what the 2K12 rookie slate looked like (before the season began):

Mine is pretty bad then dang. Always next year.
A. Davis: 76 -78

B. Beal: 70 - 72
D. Waiters: 70 - 72
T.Rob: 74 - 75
D. Lilliard: 68 - 70
H. Barnes: 72 - 73
T. Ross: 65 -67
A. Drummond: 67 - 69
A. Rivers: 64 - 66
This is a fair. But i would have Drummond ranked below Rivers or at the same rating.
This is a fair. But i would have Drummond ranked below Rivers or at the same rating.
I am a drummond homer so off instinct I was going to give him 80 but I thought it would be a bit much.
davis will be an 80. his athletic ratings defense awareness and blocks will be high.
barnes could be 74 if they get generous with athletic rating
NBA Live already released all the rookie ratings. The highest rated one is Anthony Davis at 80.
NBA Live already released all the rookie ratings. The highest rated one is Anthony Davis at 80.
Do you know Live's rating scale (0-100, 25-99, or 50-99)?
MKG can barely talk. His presser for the Bobcats was embarrassing.
Even a rookie Lebron James failed to get past '80' during his first season.
Tyler Zeller doesn't play 2k? What the **** does he do with his life?
Go outside and play real basketball? I may be wrong though.
What's a good PS3 roster to download as it updates?
