Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Blake is 1-2 inches taller, but they are about the same weight (260-270lbs), and seems to be similarly proportioned.

We know LeBron is faster and more coordinated, has better skills in just about everything, but who is more of a physical beast?
They are both unstoppable at the basket, but LeBron is better at driving to the basket and finishing tough layups.
Is Blake possibly a slightly better leaper and a bit stronger?
Who would win in the following:
Bench press
100m dash
Arm wrestling
Furthest thrown football
Most powerful punch
Most powerful kick
Most flexible
Reaction time
Boxing match
Most silverback gorillas slain in 5 minutes
Fight to the death

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
LeBron wins in everything. Best athlete on the planet.
-
Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
I don't think Blake would beat LeBron in anything tbh.
-
Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
In the fight versus silverback gorillas category- are they being provided with expert hand to hand combat training before the fights?

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Bench press - Blake, more brute strength.
100m dash - LeBron, he's faster.
Arm wrestling - Not sure.. both have some guns. I'll say LeBron because I think his arms are longer.
Furthest thrown football - LeBron probably.
Most powerful punch - LeBron I suppose.
Most powerful kick - Blake, he has hops.
Most flexible - LeBron.
Reaction time - LeBron.
Boxing match - I take Blake because of the height advantage.
Most silverback gorillas slain in 5 minutes - Both die before killing any.
Fight to the death - Blake, he has ginger rage.
IMO.

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Lebron in everything. Not taking anything away from Blake, but Lebron is one of, if not the greatest physical specimen this game has ever seen.

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Lebron has better reaction time and he's quicker and just a little faster. Blake is actually pretty fast but he has horrible stamina. Blake better at everything else.
-
Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Lebron is 265-270lbs
Blake 250-255lbs
considering lebron is 2' shorter and his body fat is ridiculously low lebron is stronger
Besides these two ridiculous choices lebron is better than blake at everything
Most silverback gorillas slain in 5 minutes
Fight to the death

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
that team usa outfit is goddamn ugly

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
I'd Lebron at almost everything except bench. I think he arm wrestling wouldbe a draw and in terms of a boxing match I have no idea that has a lot to do with mentality. Lebron seems like he would be more of a mayweather fighting type and Blake a more aggressive type but neither are boxers so who the hell knows.
But Lebron is a better athlete. Blake is always falling down but Lebron never falls. He has better stability and better balance which is very advantageous in many sports and just things in life in general. It's why he would be a great football player too.

I'm really not sure if Lebron has ridiculously low body fat.
Anyways, I think except bench press, fights, and possibly vertical leap that LeBron would win in everything. Lebron is too nice of a guy to fight.

I guess you didn't see Cleveland LeBron. Dude was arguably the fastest from end to end. And he's still one of the fastest in the league. His quickness is nowhere near the same though.

Lebron came into Heat camp last season at 5.1% bodyfat. Wade at 3.8%...
If that's not low, I don't know what is.
I think the only thing that Blake might beat Lebron at is bench press, even then I'm not sure due to Lebron being slightly older and hitting the weights longer.

I have a hard time any of those BF's numbers are even true. Most of the time those numbers are completely exaggerated and off by a decent amount.

I don't believe that is 5.1% body fat or even close to it for that matter.

Isn't that from when he was still a Cavalier? :confusedshrug:

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
LeBron's physique is very overrated IMHO. His body fat is NOT ridiculously low, I'd say it's pretty average for an athlete (key word: athlete). Not saying he isn't a beast but there are guys with better physiques in the league. Blake is one of them.

If his body fat is ridiculously low, his abs would be way more apparent.
Blake would be better in anything strength wise while LeBron would be better with speed/quickness and balance/stability.

It was from 2010-2011 in his first season with Miami. He looked a little bit leaner in 2012 but not that much.
All I'm saying is that the body fat thing is always exaggerated in the NBA. Aaron Brooks was like listed at like 2.7 body fat which is not even healthy for a human.
Here is a thread that talks about the myth of NBA body fats.

If I had to take a guess LeBron has 8-10% body fat.

Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
Does anyone have LeBron's full draft stats? I can't find his bench press or 3/4 court sprint numbers.
Nope. the fact that lebron doesn't have these full draft stats and he always dodges the question when he is asked about his weight is because he wants to add to the myth of his abilities.

Lebron's on some human growth hormone stuff. You can clearly see that protruding gut.
When you naturally work out....your stomach should be sucked in not those protruding 6 pack abs.
Protruding 6pack gut

Where did I say that? The lower the body fat does not correlate to a better athlete. :facepalm
Am I talking to an anorexic chick or something?
-
Re: Blake vs LeBron in random tests of physical ability
LeBron weighs more, is stronger, faster, and better balancing. He can jump higher, and is generally better at every thing than Blake other than pushing off of a defender to make himself appear that he is higher in the air on an offensive foul that somehow turns into an and 1 opportunity.

Pictures often don't do it justice.
I've had several bodyfat tests done, and I came to be at a 10.6% average over 3 different tests.
There is not a chance in hell that Lebron is the same bodyfat percentage as me like you stated him being 8-10%. Dude is ripped as hell.
