Lebrons 45-15-5 game vs Celtics Game 6 (video)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-VzBeOrdAg
45 pts on just 26 shots, 15 boards, 5 assists, and Lebron shutdown his defensive matchup for most of the night (Pierce was a god awful 4-18 shooting and invisible all game long)

Notes: James is the first player to score at least 25 points against the Celtics in eight consecutive postseason games since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from April 28, 1974, to May 27, 1984
James became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain in 1964 with at least 45 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in a postseason game

LOL this is so stupid. Why did ESPN do this? I could EASILY switch the numbers to 35 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists? It's so arbitrary lol. But i guess.

I honestly didn't hear anyone complain when they did the arbitrary numbers with Rondo's game.
As long as it isn't Lebron it's fine.

omg shut up, trying to always paint Lebron being a victim. :oldlol: I complained about Rondo as well. But no one gives a damn about his performance or Westbrooks, because they both resulted in losing efforts. But the point still stands. Arbitrary numbers, are arbitrary numbers are they not? Trying to make it seem out of this world godly b/c it's compared to Wilt, when there have been games like it.
I'm not taking anything away from his performance. Was it amazing? Yes. The best in a few years. But are the numbers arbitrary? Yes. I could easily say 30, 6, 9. Or 25+, 12, 4? Get the point? :confusedshrug:

whats the point of scoring 43 when you're going to let your man score 33 points on 13/18 shooting?

Amazing game. And it was an elimination game in the ECF, so it'd be hard to find anything besides a Finals game that had more importance.

He at least recognized the mismatch and reacted appropriately. He had a history of not doing this, this playoff run was a growing experience for him. I saw him do things on a more consistent basis then before. And he was hitting shots from everywhere in that game, all types of shots at that. He was reading the defense and reacting like the great scorers should do.
If he can maintain that same level of consistency, the world is in trouble.
I've always said that Bron is scary even tho he has ways to go. But once he figures it out

Arguably the Goat "do or die" performance by a individual player.

Yeah good point. But Rivers messed up AGAIN next game by putting Bass on Lebron and Lebron blew by him at will. Should have stayed with Pierce and lived with the foul trouble.

Re: Lebrons 45-15-5 game vs Celtics Game 6 (video)
A former great team on their last legs. 2008 Celtics would shut him down.
Lebron had the easiest road to the finals since Kidd and Martin in 2002.
No Rose, no Howard, not a single team above "very good" status.

And beating the Pacers and the Celtics with injured Wade and without Bosh in half of this games was coincidence, and battling to 4:1 win over clearly the best team in WC (and the team that Miami stood no chance of beating according to most of the posters on ISH and 80% of USA population) was pure luck right? :coleman:

Lebron individually basically never had trouble against Celtics, especially not against Rose and his team or Howard and his team.... against Howard he had arguably the most productive series in NBA playoff history averaging 39-8-8... against Rose? See what happened in ECF last year... against Celtics, see what happened this year, last year and in his Cavs days..
Lebron played with career low averaging injured Wade, a career low averaging injured Bosh who missed basically the entire ECF and excluding the Finals his other roleplayers were underperforming and were exploited due to their small size defensively against especially Celtics.... Lebron literally carried that team with amazing playoff performance, he willed that team to a championship and had actually great competition, but he played so good that it made his competition look.... "easy"....

Still better than playing a dysfunctional Knicks team, a hard working but “wet behind the ears” Pacers team, and a old Celtics team relying entirely on a point guard who can't shoot.
Pointing out what Lebron did statistically in 2008, 2009 and 2012 against those teams (losing two of those series) is worthless data.
The 2012 eastern conference was a joke.

How was that a joke? Miami was tied 2-2 against Indiana with Pacers having all the momentum to advance. Miami was trailing 3-2 against Boston in the conference Finals. And then in the Finals Miami won against Oklahoma 4-1, the same Oklahoma team which, except for San Antonio series, has closed out competition in the western conference pretty easily.
Something doesn't seem logical here, don't you think? Actually no, it is logical and the conclusion that follows is that 2012 western conference was an even bigger joke, but God forbid to say something like that cuz our hero Kobe is playing there and his ''competitive spirit'' won't allow him to face weak competiton...

IMO if the Heat lost this game LeBron's legacy would've been ruined and he wouldn't have a shot at being the GOAT. On the road in an elimination game with probably millions of people watching and then he goes on to drop 45-15-5  One of the best post-season performances in NBA history.:applause:
