It takes a lot of guts to fall like that. Literally flat on your face, then to get up and get back up there which she did.

I'm not an expert or anything but I think gymnasts primes are when they are very young, like 14-18. After that they get naturally heavier and less flexible just from becoming adults. This is why the Chinese always try to sneak in 14 year olds to the Olympics.
