Heat must be shitting bricks:lol
They needed one more big body. You cant teach big, and Darko is big. :applause:

I'd laugh so hard if he beats James, Wade and Bosh in a series. Heck, hopefully we can face New York in the first round and he can beat Anthony as well.
Big is good. That's what we needed.
Hopefully he'll be ok. At least he can hand out fouls.
Where the hell is Boston getting the money to sign these players? Also how many roster spots do they have good lord. They can go at least 8 deep at the center and pf spots.
Miami vs Boston got more interesting. Did not open the link, how much was the offer?
KG/Wilcox/DARKO/Collins/Melo
Bass/Sullinger
Pierce/Green
Lee/Bradley
Rondo/Terry/Dooling

I believe its going to be the BAE.
Boston's looking good now. They added some nice pieces.. didn't think they would be a real contender this year but things have changed

Boston now has 14 players.
Their last roster spot will involve a battle between Kris Joseph, Dionte Christmas, & Jamar Smith. Maybe a few more guys.
Not sure I dig his personality... Looks like a scum to me. Having him in Celtics uni? Don't ask...
He better not be useless pile of trash.

Yay, could end up a quality signing!
However, I am giving it to about half season before Rondo has Darko flipp and go ape and that will be the end of that.
KG and Darko on the same team. :oldlol: They should do a 24/7 for that shit. OMG. The intense fake gangsta vs. the lazy pussinator from Serbia.

Darko is many things, but a pussy he is not.

Damn, they are loaded! But Rondo will almost have to be the best player in the series to take out the Heat; or he, Pierce, Garnett will all have to play like true all-stars, and Terry like a legit 6th man of the year.
Their depth will help them get through the season, but in a 7-game series against the Heat, the stars will have to step it up big time. I like their chances.

I'd be surprised if Darko ends up behind Wilcox on the depth chart. I think Jeff Green will probably back up both the 3 and the 4 while Sullinger plays spot minutes for at least the first half of the season.
This is a great signing for the Celtics, KG and Darko could be a monster defensive duo.

By beat do you mean run over and start punching? Because i don't see how else he's beating anyone (unless him sitting in his chair counts...)

Yes, a physical beating.

Actually something that bothers me about Darko's career is how the Pistons gave up on him when he was 20. Why not see out his whole rookie contract? Flip Saunders should have spent more time developing him in his 3rd season - he may have had a slightly better career, and would have eventually replaced Wallace as the starting center.
I meant he
2nd round at best. Too old.
Boston is definitely a contender, I don't see them losing to anyone in the East outside of Miami but they could even beat them imo.
I'm hoping for a Spurs - Celtics finals, so we can see Darko shut-down Timmy D.

I cannot wait to see Garnett rip into Milicic. :lol
KG playing C the whole season is a off for me.
I like it for Boston. Centers tend to do good in their system.
If they manage to do away with the Heat, they'll need his size against the Lakers.

We need to counter Indiana, Philadelphia and possibly Chicago before then. Hopefully he's coming to play hard and listen

And people think the East is weak.
Nice signing. He is a good shot blocker who will be vital for the 2nd unit. Hopefully he will be motivated come playoff time!
Enjoy the laziest center in the league since Eddy Curry on your team.

More big man insurance. Celtics should be going for more guard insurance.

Rondo, Lee, and Bradley are all young guys, don't really see much of a necessity in insuring them...not as much as insuring KG.

Boston quietly put together a very nice team. Im really excited to see how terry fits in and to see what green can bring back to this team.
i think hes just training camp fodder. no way he makes it thru the season with KG berating him
i think hes just training camp fodder. no way he makes it thru the season with KG berating him
Someone else gets it. Dorko is the most mentally soft player I've ever seen. Unless he is getting pampered by the coach/team mates he completely checks out. KG is going to eat him alive.
When the Heat were going to sign him, he sucked. When Boston signed him, the Heat should be scared. lol wut?
:oldlol: @ the Laker fan in this thread.
Heat should be scared of the team they bounced 2 years in a row?

A walking punchline, but preferable to the indignity of seeing Martin probably don #8 just to further rub it in.
When the Heat were going to sign him, he sucked. When Boston signed him, the Heat should be scared. lol wut?
Almost no one thinks this signing makes a large difference.
