Just saw that.
Wow.
Atleast he's consistent and you know what you're getting with him.
I mean, it's bowling. How does it screw up your knees? And unless team docs basically said don't do anything except gingerly walk you really can't bash him that much. It's bowling!
remember when he delayed his surgery for the world cup? definitely a character, horrible if you own the team he's on
Goat

This explains why Greg Oden's knees never healed...

I never had a good feeling about Bynum. While I am glad he is no longer a Laker(And that we got D12 for him:lol ), I feel bad for the Sixers for having to deal with this kind of crap.

The Sixers fear that Andrew Bynum has done additional damage to his knees by bowling recently, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
The news keeps getting worse for the Sixers, whose theoretical franchise center has yet to play a game in their uniform. Bynum admitted to reporters that he recently suffered a "setback" and had "weakened cartilage" in both of his knees, so presumably the Sixers have linked that setback to his bowling. It's weird, it's disappointing, and the story is still developing, so check back soon for an update.

Bynum / Kwame /Mo Evans used to go bowling together when they played for the Lakers. supposedly Kwame is really good at it.
Kwame was probably there with Bynum
this guy will never be healthy a full season in philly

****ing awesome.:lol
And he'll still get the max this summer.
You know what would be crazy? If some random dude just wore a skimask and ran up to like LeBron James or Dwight Howard and just started hammering them in their knee's with a baseball bat. Like I'm talking serious damage. Going to town on those knee caps.
I wonder what the legal repercussions would be from something like that. Just your typical assault with a deadly weapon? You gotta think potentially ruining a guy's NBA career and taking away all that money would make the consequences worse. Guy would be a legend, a hated legend but he'd probably live on amongst sports fans forever.
An ISH fanboy needs to step up and get it done.
Bynum and Philly fans is a volatile combination.
If he can't get healthy and it's because of bowling....:facepalm
He will not live up to expectations due to injuries and lacks the maturity to handle the criticism Philly fans will dish when he underperforms.
Glad the Lakers got rid of him but I feel bad for Jrue and Doug Collins.

:biggums: Are you suggesting that someone goes all 'Jeff Gillooly' on LeBron?

I thought about this the minute I heard about the trade. I don't think it's going to end well, lol.
Thank God we traded him for Dwight.

Are you implying the bat wouldn't disintegrate once it got a few inches to lebron's legs?

what the **** does this have anything to do with philly fans? ok so if any other team acquired a "franchise big man" in the offseason and hyped him up then the guy hurts his knees ****ing bowling? you think any other fan base would be ok with that?

I would almost enjoy it because I never liked Bynum when he was a Laker, but like I said in the post, Doug Collins deserves better.
He has turned around the 76ers and I hate to see it fall apart because of Bynum.

I agree. Any team's fanbase would be pissed that their franchise guy hurt his fragile knees bowling but Philly fans are notorious for being hard on their teams.
It's not a foreign concept. That's not to imply all Philly fans are that way but it is what it is.
