I'm sure there's more examples, but the first team to come to mind was the 1991 Warriors. That year Tim Hardaway averaged 23, Mitch Richmond 24, and Chris Mullin 26 (on 54% shooting).

Such a fun team that year.
Shame they missed the playoffs.
ahhh yes being a Warriors fan I should have thought of Run-TMC.

oh man Warriors did it twice, now I'm just embarrassed. Didn't think Jackson averaged anywhere near 20PPG.

Chambers and the Johnson's.
Back to back years, only time this has been accomplished I believe:

Ellis, Chambers, and the X-Man.
2001 Philadelphia 76ers
Allen Iverson: 31
Tyrone Hill: 20
Eric Snow: 21
Great run and gun team with balanced scoring. Eric Snow had a sweet J. Lights out from anywhere on the court.

06-07 Wizards were close...

Arenas: 28.4
Jamison: 19.8

Now I know Hill and Snow never averaged 20ppg.

Yeah, that trio also popped into my head too.
Main reason I asked is the current Heat are close with;
LeBron - 25ppg
Wade - 20ppg
Bosh -18ppg

Ellis, Chambers, and the X-Man.
The early 80's Nuggets did it four seasons in a row. David Thompson, Dan Issel, and Alex English for the first two. Then English, Issel, and Kiki Vandeweghe for the last two. Though, I'm not sure I'd count the first of those four years, as two of the three players in '79-'80 played less than 40 games.
if we're listing teams that were close, 2008 Spurs were up there.
Manu - 19.5
Duncan - 19.3
Parker - 18.8
2005 Suns were relatively close
Amare - 26.0
Marion - 19.4
Johnson - 17.1

Good catch, I was actually thinking about them too because of high their pace was during those teams.
I would discount this season, though:

^Thompson only played 39 games and English only played 24 games. Should be able to player more than 85% of your games to count, yes ?

Ray Allen 21.8
Glenn Robinson 20.7
Sam Cassell 19.7

I'm still waiting to know where you got this. Hill and Snow didn't even average 20 PPG combined.
if kevin martin has a few 30 pt games... thunder could do it yeah?
if kevin martin has a few 30 pt games... thunder could do it yeah?
Meh...he'll probably settle in around 16-17 PPG on the season. It'd take more than a few 30 point games. He's essentially doing what Harden did: blowing up from time to time for 20-30 points, and balancing that out (keeping his PPG down) with some 7-12 point games.
Still OKC's top four scorers could end up doing something like this:
Durant: 27-28 PPG
Westbrook: 22-23 PPG
Martin: 16-17 PPG
Ibaka: 14-15 PPG
That's a combined 79-82 PPG which is on par with some of those other teams with three 20+ PPG scorers and a fourth guy around 15 PPG. Throw in 7-10 points a game from Sefolosha, and 5-10 most games from guys like Collison, Perkins, and lately Maynor, and it's easy to see why their offense has been so explosive this year.
I remember Dallas was close...
they had Dirk, Josh Howard and Terry.
Lakers from 1970 had 4 players who scored 20 points or more;
http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAL/1970.html
Jerry West - 31.2 points per game
Wilt Chamberlain - 27.3 points per game
Elgin Baylor - 24 points per game
Happy Hairston - 20.6 points per game
Wilt only played 12 games though.
The Gilbert/Caron/Jamison Wizards were the most recent
2007-08 Warriors

Damn this thread is so serious. I was being sarcastic when talking about one of the most single handedly offensively carried teams in recent memory. And Snow who was a Rondo'esque shooter.
