Not anymore he's not.
Good job Konex :facepalm
Portland. Fool Utah once, shame on you. Fool Utah twice, shame on Utah.
How much are they paying him right now?

The Blazers pulled a reverse Lin-type contract for him, but instead of backloading they frontloaded it.

$7 million a year through the 2014-2015 season.
Good value.

I believe it is backloaded. Check it out.

There was a huge signing bonus that the Jazz would have had to pay as soon as they matched the offer. They had to take out a loan to do that when they matched Millsaps offer. They should have with Matthews too. He's missed.

utah let him go simply because he was black. they prolly gonna let milsap, burks, and jefferson walk too.

:biggums:
It was about money as usual in Utah not skin color. They are about basketball IQ not skin color.
I am really surprised that Portland is over 500 this season. But they have to start thinking about a backup pg because if Lillard goes down they are f2cked. Not that Lillard is super good but because every other PORTLAND PG is really bad.
edit

Portlands starting 5 is no doubt a playoff team my big concern is that they wear out their starters during the season. As far as Wesley yeah always liked his game guys a solid SG and good role player.

I mean every other PG in this Portland team ;D
Wes Matthews dammit. He's on my fantasy team but my Lakers need this loss

The Jazz have 13 black players on their roster compared to 2 non-black players (Hayward & Kanter)
:coleman:
He came thru big today, clutch as hell

And 4 black coaches to 2.

A loan?
Yes that was the sly move of the deep pocketed Paul Allen. Unlike him the Jazz don't have 10 million or what ever it was in cash. They had to take out a bank loan to keep Millsap. Matthews deal was similar but on a smaller scale I believe.
I've always liked the way Wes plays. He can slash, get to the line, hit the corner 3 and plays some solid perimeter defense. It always seems like he has another level to his potential just because of all the things he can do and what hes been doing since his rookie season but he just comes the same every season which isn't a bad thing because you know what you're getting with him but I feel like he should become a solid three option more but I suppose its not needed if Batum continues to become a consistent player.
Also, I agree the Blazers starters are a playoff team but that bench is horrible. Only guys I'd keep from this bench is Leonard, Barton and Williams. Surround them with some playoff tested veterans to help with these young guys development in practice and they'll bring more production than this current bench.
Yeah hes pretty good, he destroyed the Heat's defense last night.

Didn't realise that.. Guess the way owners can front load and back load contracts it really makes it tough to match.

Alec is already signed for the next 4 years.
