Someone should show him the 40 times he could get position in the post to receive a pass.

wow is this guy for real?

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
It has to be said. Maybe if everyone wasn't such a coward and finally called Kobe out for his chucking, they'd be able to win some games. It's 2013. Kobe isn't the calibre of player that warrants taking 25 long range shots per game.

Indeed, Dwight isnt a coward and he stands up against the chucker, now people are calling him a cancer. Since when did the definition of cancer change? The reason why the likes of Iverson were called cancers was because the team was playing better and winning more games without them. Lakers without Dwight went on a 6 games losing streak.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
What are the odds Dwight resigns? :oldlol:

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
It was obvious 2 weeks into the season that all of this was going to happen.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
2 made field goals, 4 turnovers, and 5 fouls. Why would he want to show anyone that stat sheet? Disgraceful game, disgraceful player, disgraceful human being.
If the Lakers offer him a max contract, I'm done supporting them.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
Good for Howard. Standing up for himself. :applause:

Yeah, the Lakers season could've been saved if someone is willing to risk his reputation standing up against Kobe. Kobe used to be a good player, but its not his era anymore. Remember how Shaq stepped down to play Wade's robin in Heat's first title? Similarly with Wade in 12?

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
I want to see how this team does with a few games without Kobe. It would show Kobe is the problem.

I'm honestly gonna enjoy being a Laker fan much more when Kobe is gone.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
Howards stats:
Wins - 19.5 ppg, 12.0 shots
Losses - 15.1 ppg, 9.2 shots
seems pretty obvious it's best to get Howard going... or at least try every game.
5 shots aint enough.

Could you also post the turnovers and free throws attempted and made too?

The turnovers don't really tell the whole story because the turnover is assessed on the passer.

High turnovers and low FT% have been a constant all through out Howard's career.... wins or losses.
The point is, Lakers are going nowhere if they keep Howard a 10-shots-or-less player.

Lol why don't you just post them. Because FT attempts and turnovers have an effect on how many shots Dwight gets. :confusedshrug: I'm not saying Dwight shouldn't get more touches I'd love to see him get 20 shots a game but lets be real now you haven't actually seen Dwight play this year

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
While Kobe's been playing like straight-up rotten ass lately, y'all need to remember that more than a few games would have been won if Dwight hit his freethrows (when coaches were hacking him early in the season), and I don't know how many times I've seen the ball smacked out of Mr. Butterfinger's hands.
This team is just a failure basically. My biggest reason for wanting a Pau for Bosh trade is because I actually like Bosh and would like to see Pau used properly like he used to be. Not to mention get another ring.

I've watched him enough to know they're treating him like pretty much a role player, ala Tyson Chandler... He turns the ball over, yes, but his leash is shorter than it should be. This is a player who's ALWAYS turned the ball over and ALWAYS shot poorly at the line... Fact of the matter is, in wins he's putting up nearly 20 ppg. If I'm coach, I'm trying to get him to the number, not shut him out.
split stats are here ... (he turns the ball over virtually the same amount in W/L's)

And only sees a 2% drop off in free throws. Dude needs the ball more. How much that falls on Kobe and/or D'Antoni is another story.

OMGZZZ he only cares about his stats.
but noooo D12 does it and it's "about time he said something"

It's D'Antoni's offense. You ever wonder why World Peace is able to hoist up more shots than Howard? There is no way the Lakers should be taking 20 25 3 point shots a night and that includes every player. But that's what D'antoni's offense dictates. Max should be 15 shots and the rest should be going inside. Just my opinion

I think without kobe or MDA they would be better.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
Lakers players and Kobe need to go out and say to give Dwight at least 15 shots every game. I know he gets stripped and misses freethrows, but still, 15 shots minimum. Kobe and Nash are really the only players that try to get the ball into the post. They look for Howard or Pau. Guys like Morris yesterday didn't pass it to Dwight who had position and was asking for the ball and instead went for a layup and got blocked. Scrubs should not be taking shots, pass the ball and move out the way. Don't have a problem with Dwight doing this. 5 shots? This isn't the first time, he has had multiple games with under 10 shots this season. And no Kobe is not the problem. He actually makes an effort to pass the ball inside. ******s need to watch the games instead of just looking at FGA.

Re: Howard walking with stat sheet after game showing it to teamates
Is Dwight trying to get traded? I can't seriously believe that anyone would actually pull this shit. Gasol's talking about individual accountability, Kobe's talking about going back to basics getting Gasol and Nash going, yet Howard's only talking about me me me and never addresses his defensive shortcomings.
