Sorry bro :D
At least this may be a step in the right path for your team

Boston wants another Kevin from Minnesota?
I wonder what the next move is if we trade for Love. Clearly Rondo/Love alone isn't enough to make noise in the East. Either way, great move by Danny if he can bring in a 26/12 PF to Boston. Should earn him executive of the year honors again.
imo boston is the one who has the better offers so this is good

Yeah.. good for 2nd though?
One more all star type and you can attack Miami IMO

What do you think about getting Asik and reupping Bradley? Rondo would be the oldest member of the starting 5 at 28 and you'd have Olynyk off the bench with the full MLE to play with.

Well the East is pretty weak, so maybe. We'd need to sign some solid Vet free agents to be competitive though. No way guys like Phil Pressey and Chris Johnson can be in the rotation next year.
who cares? love is irrelevant. is he really gonna make boston that much better? no.

I wouldn't mind that, assuming there's no way we can keep Sullinger. Love/Asik would be a tough matchup for Miami.
How short is he exactly?
I mean, Rondo is 6 foot tall so what does that make Kevin Love?
Love looks like 6 foot 4 in that picture.
It's happening
Sick bucket hat Rondo

Funny but true:oldlol: Bad choice for Love tho, he shud go to tha knicks.:applause:
I hate bucket hats with a passion, but I'll give my dude Rondo a pass for that.

Whatz funny?:lol
If both Kevin and Ainge are smart, they would let his contract expire and sign him. That way they can offer him max without gutting the team out and they can get a good rookie this year.
kevin love is the man but he's being a bit of an attention whore
Whatz funny?:lol
The Knicks. I know it will take some time, but you will eventually get the joke.

He's like 6'8 or 9. His height is exaggerated but he isn't 6'4
I don't think Boston will make the trade for K-Love.

-Bogans + Vitor + other non-guaranteed deals for Asik + Lin
-Lin + 2015 Clippers pick to Utah for Hayward S&T (use Pierce trade exception)
-S&T Bradley to wherever he wants
-Use trade exception from Bradley S&T to lure Ariza/Deng type SF
-Sign Jordan Hill with MLE and DaJuan Blair with BAE
-Use #17 pick (assuming not traded in Love deal) on PJ Hairston
-Sign Aaron Brooks, James Johnson to vet minimum
Rondo-Hayward-Deng-Love-Asik
Brooks-Hairston-Johnson-Hill-Blair
That team might not beat Miami but they push them harder than Indiana did this post season imo.
Edit: To make the money work, it'd require two separate deals involving Houston. Before draft, all the non-guaranteed deals for Asik (Pierce trade exception not required I think). Then post-draft, Houston sends Lin to Utah, Boston sends 2015 Clippers 1st rounder to Utah, Utah does S&T to send Hayward to Boston (via Pierce trade exception).
If I'm the Wolves I'd trade Love for 6th pick, Green, and Olynyk, and would be damn happy.

The Wolves don't want Jeff Green. Jeff Green is only productive/valuable on a team that already has a successful 1st/2nd offensive option.
The Celtics will probably give 2 picks, a young asset, and maybe some cap relief.
The better deals in the NBA for Minnesota would 1-2 more young assets, but decent draft picks and cap relief are very enticing and helpful for a team like the Wolves.

#6, Green, Bogans' waiveable contract.
Turns Love into a cheap rookie, an under 10 mill starting 3, and 5 million in cap savings once they clear out Bogans.

I could see Minnesota wanting to dump guys like Budinger (player option for 2015-2016) and Barea (expiring) because they haven't worked out for them. Green's (player option for 2015-2016, also) overpaid, but he makes the same as those two other guys combined (and I believe he'd contribute more to winning than those two combined due to Budinger's spotty health and Barea's ineffectiveness) . I could see Minnesota potentially going for Green in that sort of arrangement. Boston can utilize Barea's expiring in another trade and be stuck with Buddinger + Wallace taking up ~$15M in cap space.
One question- if a team uses stretch provision on a guy (Budinger) with a player option, does that player option get factored into the cap hit? For Budinger's case, would his guaranteed 2014-2015 salary of $5M be stretched out over 3 years or would the total value left on his contract, including his player option, ($10M I think) be stretched out over 5 years?

While that's better than nothing for Love, the Wolves have better offers than that.
Nice hat...
Sign Love and bring back Pierce
in before
"Kevin Love is actually a decent passer?"
"Kevin Love can make plays?"
but not before
"WHY isn't Kevin shooting at a higher% now that he is playing next to an All Star PG. I don't care how many rebounds he has, he is a SOFT PF in my mind"
Rondo's hat
Boston will get Kevin Love.
and Houston fans think theyll get Love because Loves relationship with McFail:roll:   :biggums:
Probably an agent-driven move to get people paying attention to his impending fee agency.
Gotta get a solid defensive piece to go along with him to make it a real splash, but I still like the look of Love in green, yo.
Poor guy has been so traumatized in Minnesota. He want's to go to the Eastern Conference instead.
Anyone remember this... Sorry it's BR but it had to be done.

Or he can get traded somewhere else in the meantime, decides he likes it there and want to stay. I never understood the logic of "why trade for him when we can just sign him in the offseason?" These are dudes in their mid-20s. You really think they are that sure of their futures and can't change their mind? If you're Ainge, you don't risk that.
Prime example of this is actually Kevin Love and the Lakers. A few months ago it was basically a given that Kevin Love was going to end up with the Lakers, so why would they offer a 1st round pick for him? Well, now things seem to be completely different.
