Even with Westbrook playing out of his mind and Ibaka coming back they still couldnt beat the Spurs

KD is spot on. Kawhi is simply overrated. With that kind of system, where you have 3 future hofs who can go off at anytime, the worst he'll get is 1 on 1 coverage by a good defender. Put him on a team where he is the center of attention and he'll choke big time.

George is a better defender and the 1st option on offense getting most of the defensive attention. There are like 3 players on the Spurs getting more defensive attention than Kawhi and he doesnt start offense either like Tony or Manu

Leonard is a stud, no doubt. I have no grip with his Finals MVP. But the system had something to do with it too. Really, you could make cases for Duncan and Manu winning it too.

Durant is 100% right, Leonard probably isn't even a top 10 SF in the NBA. George isn't a superstar, but he's still a fringe all star who got overhyped a little bit. Leonard will not be an all star for at least 2-3 years and even that's a stretch. The guy will likely be a career 14/8/3 elite defense SF.

The system didn't develop Kawhi's low post game or his jumphook (something Durant needs to explore). The system didn't develop his three point shot for him. It sure as hell didn't give him his rebounding, hustle and defensive ability to get steals or blocks at just the right time. System or no system the kid is improving his game and doing it during pressure-filled moments. To have constant Conference Finals/NBA Finals experience at such a young age is huge.
