Re: Memphis are 6-0 who's stopping them?
Lol they will probably go 10-0 and haven't been impressive... TaL said the same thing. They have too many holes to go to the WCF.. Even at their best.
But a very solid and sufficient squad, so far they've just about done enough.

Re: Memphis are 6-0 who's stopping them?
Memphis barely squeezed by an injury depleted Oklahoma City team that is still playing without six regular rotation players, including last year's MVP and also arguably the best point guard in the league, and barely beat a Thunder squad that only made three free throws in the game.
They are what they are, which is a tough defensive minded team that will be difficult for anyone in the playoffs, but it's still going to be the fifth or sixth best team in the stacked Western Conference behind teams like San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State and right there with Houston and Portland.
Memphis just lacks the offensive firepower and outside shooting to win the WC. They would, however, be the third best team in the Leastern Conference.

any team not in the weak west.

What is the record so far this season for the Eastern conference against the big boys for the Western Conference, again?

Can you explain to me what the fck Giannis is doing? I thought he was a budding star and drafted him in the 9th round of my draft. Now this guy isn't even playing half the game. I'm about to drop him and pick up some shit player aka JR Smith. Nope never mind, someone else has him on their team already

I'll give you the "short" version.
1) Knight is a chucking retard being forced to play PG.
2) Kidd is experimenting with his rotations a LOT, to the point where shitty vets are taking playing time away from quality young players. Playing bonafide scrubs like Ilyasova, Zaza, and Jared ****ing Dudley over guys like Larry, Giannis, and even Jabari. It's still early in the season though, it might just be them upping the vets' trade value. Giannis and Jabari just killed it against Detroit..scored like 10-12 straight points for us in the 4th and almost won it themselves, until again, Knight ****ed it up.
3) Giannis was never gonna be a good fantasy option this year. Not this season. He's a beast defensively and does the little things on offense, one of our best impact players when he's on the floor..think Iggy. But he's not gonna drop 20 consistently just yet. He's still 19..
Like I said though he and Jabari were very nice together in the 4th of tonight's game. Kidd is working them towards bigger minutes and bigger roles. I'm positive they'll be putting up bigger numbers as the season progresses. You should still probably look for a flashier player in terms of numbers..but it doesn't reflect who these guys are as players.

Now you're scrambling, throwing out variations of the "rent free" garbage. You're just not funny, dude. The only amusing part about you is that you keep trying :oldlol:

Knight is averaging 18/7.5 on 41.5%. That's not really chucking...

Re: Memphis are 6-0 who's stopping them?
Not impressed with the Grizzlies. They just don't have enough shooting/offense. When they aren't dominating the glass, they're just average. First round exit most likely.

It is if you view the context of his shots. He takes shots out of the flow of the game, creates for himself and his passing is incredibly forced. His shot selection is poor, tries too hard to get himself going and too little to make those around him better.
He's a good scorer. But what he needs to be is a spark off the bench if he wants to continue his style of play. He would be an excellent scoring 6th man..but he's a terrible floor general.
He'll have games like this where he'll do good things but in the long run he has no future as a true PG of this team, and the longer he deludes himself into thinking he IS a true PG, and the longer Kidd buys into that retardery..Jabari and Giannis aren't gonna maximize their potential.

I have Giannis too, staying patient but thought he would fill up the side stats more. Any reason why he isn't grabbing more boards, getting steals/blocks. Right now he seems like a stash player for the 2nd half when his minuets should be upped.
