Figure skating
Gymnastics

Every other sport is either boring, or people just watch to ogle the women

Women are not as athletic as men, its like watching an inferior product. The only athletic advantage the usually have is flexibility and balance.

Honestly find it weird that people would watch a much lower level of basketball when the NBA is easily available. I dont even watch the NCAA tournament until the final 4

Because females tennis players are so vastly inferior to male tennis players. It ridiculous to believe that Elite female pros would stand a chance against even average male pros.

Eg. for a female Serena Williams has a devastating first serve, Her first serve would be pedestrian compared to the big hitters among the men

IMO the only athletic aspects females can equal or surpass men on is flexibility and balance, thus the only sports where i think women compete at a high level is gymnastics and figure skating.

Every other sport females are competing at a vastly lower level than their male counterparts.

I find it insulting that men's singles winner in tennis grand slam tournament s these days get paid the same as women. Wtf? Isn't the basis of equality that each individual should be paid based on their ability to do a certain job. Female tennis players are not just worse ability wise, they also make less money for the tournament compared to male tennis players.

I pose' this question , would you rather have a WNBA team or a team that plays in the NBA , but has to travel over seas and play 15 games over there ??? :confusedshrug:

I prefer watching women's tennis and volleyball than men's. Also prefer women's soccer.

Not the ogling factor, either. But the additional power and speed that men bring to the table makes the above sports more difficult to watch for me. I prefer the women's game of longer points and more strategy (tennis and vball) and I just don't understand soccer, so I need it to be "slowed down" to enjoy it lol.

Inferiority is related to parity, IMO. I don't consider the women's game, in any sport, inferior, because the women don't play the men.

The enjoyment factor is, for me, directly proportional to the parity. I'd rather watch two well-matched women (or women's teams) than watch an opponent dominate another in a male sport.

All else equal, I'd rather watch men's sports aside from the ones I mentioned. But I can enjoy watching a close, competitive WNBA game more than I would not-close, not-competitive NBA game.

We will have to just disagree.

I went to one HS basketball game and left after like 5 mins. I have no interest in watching 2 evenly matched teams that have trouble making layups.

If I am going to invest time in following a sporting event, one of the factors I want is that I am watching elite competition. Its primarily why I will watch the World Cup, but never even consider watching MLS.

Women's tennis is like vomit compared to men's tennis. There are so many unforced errors in it its insane. Their rallies are NOT longer at all. In fact, due to the insane amount of unforced errors their rallies are a lot shorter than men's tennis rallies. Even a matchup of top ranked female tennis players is just one big unforced error fest plus women's tennis has vasltly inferior shots and is vastly inferior to men's tennis in literally every single manner. Their net play is also like vomit compared to the men's net play.

I'd rather have a single grape then have a WNBA team winning a title in my town. Women's sports are trash.
