#1 seed not exactly dominating the #8 seed
#2 seed main star could be playing a lot better
#3 having no real issues with the 6th seed
#4 not a series due to injury
seems familiar to west but now that i think of it the East is actually been more competitive
Round 2 with Bulls vs Cavs should be a good series.

Why is this a bad thing? Wouldn't you like to see as many good games as possible? Or would rather it be the general seeding archetype we're the 1s and 2s both dominate and clash in the conference finals?

I was being sarcastic in the thread title. The East playoffs have been more competitive than the West
Cleveland vs. Boston or Houston vs. Dallas???
Toronto vs. Washington or Portland vs. Memphis???
Atlanta vs. Brooklyn or Golden State vs. NOLA???

Already so sick of people taking pot shots at us for 'only winning by 7'.
It's the playoffs, a win is a win. I'll take 3 more one point wins in a row if I have to.
Not like the Cavs blew out the Celtics or the Bulls blew out the Bucks, but in those cases they're 'working out the kinks' or playing 'a really stingy defensive team' so it's all gravy.
The East's first seed is closer to the eighth seed than the West's. People only looked at numbers instead of the teams themselves.

bottom seeds in the East are better than the bottom seeds in the west
Boston was one of the better teams in the 2nd half compared to Dallas going a mediocre 21-20 in the 2nd half they also swept the pelicans this season as well.

All match-ups in both conferences suck outside of Clips-Spurs. We knew that going into the 1st round. 2nd round will be a lot better.

I personally thought Dallas and Houston would've been more exciting, but yeah, agreed. The Clippers/Spurs series is akin to a heavyweight WCF matchup.
Bulls/Bucks could be interesting just because of the physicality and defense being played (if you're a fan of that). Watching Rose play in the postseason has its lore too.
No game has been decided by 5 or fewer points yet. This playoff sucks.

Yeah, these playoffs suck. The East is garbage like always, but the West has been extremely disappointing outside of Clips/Spurs. Injuries screwed Portland, the Rondo trade destroyed Dallas, and the Pelicans don't have enough talent to really push the Warriors.
Should pick up in the 2nd round though, some potential great matchup there.

The hawks are a lot better than the wizards. They completely embarrassed them in the regular season. But since their name is "hawks" and not some more popular name their brand is seen as not that good when in fact they are the clear best team in the east

This. I'm hoping that the Spurs can remember that they are the Spurs and get going, but we'll see. Spurs/Clippers is the only series I'm actively watching, and if the Spurs lose tonight then well...I guess there's round 2.
The Least is pathetic. The only series worth watching is the inevitable Cavs/Bulls in round 2 and the ECF. The rest literally don't matter.

it has to be proven before they're labeled clear best team. same could be said about Chicago in 2010/2011. Pacers in 2012/2013 and into 2014. We now get the Hawks as the best in 2015...let it evolve before you start giving huge praises.

Nets are a good team. Just played like ass in the RG. Missed Lopez and D-Will wasn't himself and still isn't. But I think they can steal game 2.
