LOL @ Dallas and Rick Carlisle alienating the best overall PG of this generation
Dallas won 1 ring when they had the most stacked team in the league.. and what else? Thats it?... What else has Carlisle done? He's an overrated, micromanaging , paranoid psycho.
How do you expect to chain up someone like Rondo?.. the most creative all around PG if this generation... would you tell Picasso how to paint? *** NO
Rondo is an absolute beast defender/rebounder... he has magic-esque playmaking and creating... and he can still score at will when needed. LET THE MAN PLAY.
Carlisle is mad that Rondo is smarter than him.. you can see the jealousy in his eyes. You know he's lost his mind when he put Felton over Rondo HAHAHAHAHA
enjoy mediocrity, Dallas... Rondo to the Lakers in Summer '15

CP3 is nowhere near the rebounder or defender that Rondo is .. ive seen Rondo lockdown Lebron in some stages of the game

Rondo to LAL is the dream of the rest of the league. It insures that LAL are irrelevant for another 4 years. The Clipper takeover of LA would become semipermanent.
Rondo joined the #1 offense in the NBA and made it #18. He has never led a top 10 offense. Even with nothing but HoFers everywhere, he still couldn't get it done. Empty asst totals be damned: Rondo was overrated. Now he is barely an NBA player and given his demands, ego, and everything that comes with having a me first player with the ball at all times I wouldn't take him on my team at the league min.
Treason is a crime punishable by death in the US. We'll soon see what the penalty is in the NBA. It could easily be remainder of Rondo's career.

This kid is stuck in 2010.
News flash: Rondo isn't very good at anything anymore. The Mavs have a better DRtg with him off the court. :oldlol:

Rondo isn't even better than Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, or Raymond Felton at this point. How the hell is he better than CP3? :oldlol:
Not like he was ever anywhere close to CP3's level anyways.
8.9/5.5/7.9/1.3/0.1 on .426/.314/.397="Best overall PG of his generation doe" :yaohappy:
Meanwhile, CP3 puts up his usual great numbers- 19.1/4.6/10.2/1.9/0.2 on .485/.398/.900

You do know teams go 50-60 years without winning right?

At least Picasso could shoot 50% from the line.
-
Re: LOL @ Dallas and Rick Carlisle alienating the best overall PG of this generation
Have fun with a point guard that can't shoot, holds the ball for too long, is an overrated defender, and will command near max money.
Only the Lakers or Knicks would be that desperate to overpay for Rondo. :hammerhead:
-
Re: LOL @ Dallas and Rick Carlisle alienating the best overall PG of this generation
I fully expect Rondo to sign elsewhere and get back to his top boston form. In the right system Rondo is easily a top 3-5 point guard in this league, I don't think he fit in well with the mavs though
-
Re: LOL @ Dallas and Rick Carlisle alienating the best overall PG of this generation
Rondo is not the best PG of "this generation". But neither is Chris Paul. :confusedshrug:
-
Re: LOL @ Dallas and Rick Carlisle alienating the best overall PG of this generation
Chrisl Paul takes afternoon dumps more relevant than Rajon Rondo.

In what system is he a top 3-5 PG?
I personally don't think he fits in today's NBA. I wouldn't want him on my team at league min.
Tell me how many teams are clamoring for a PG who devours the entire shot clock, doesn't move the ball, cannot shoot from distance, is well below league avg at the basket, shoots FTs at a 30% clip, and can't defend?
Does that player interest you? How about if after all that he intentionally loses playoff games a week before free agency and has a bigger ego than anyone in the league? Can you say MAXCONTRACT?

You can tell by his mannerisms that Rondo is purposely playing like shit.

Lebron stans are really dumb. Dallas was stacked in 2011 now.

This.
I hate Simmons, but he is correct in saying your PG today has to be able to shoot.

Not at the start, not at the end
Until Dirk raped the Heat, Lebron choke and Mavs won it
One of the biggest Finals upset in one of the most predictable and logic postseason in sports.
