How many championships would kobe have?

1 or 2
How would there be any difference- it's just the WCF outcome would be the finals outcome, except when he would lose in 04 in ECF
Also he'd probably lose more in the finals because the ECF is so weak
Still 5 rings, with more finals appearances and more losses
we have to consider the fact that upsets happen. and a free pass to the finals every year would mean beating better teams atleast 2 out of 6 times
so
1999 - finals
2000 - finals ( win )
2001 - finals ( win )
2002 - finals ( win )
2003 - finals
2004 - finals
2006 - ECF
2007 - 2nd round
2008 - finals
2009 - finals ( win )
2010 - finals ( win )
2011 - finals
2012 - finals
we'd have to assume kobe would have made 11 finals.
and we'd also have to assume he lucks out atleast 2 of 99/03/04/08/11/12
giving him 7 titles
6 or 7.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzeroooooooooooooooooooo
Less because Shaq never would have came there.
I'm going to say 3
easily 9 or 10
6-7 is the realistic answer
reported
The east coast vs west coast hip hop rivalry in the 90s would have never happened? :confusedshrug:
u mean the team...not the city
the answer is 0 coz he WAS drafted in the East by Charlotte ... so he ends up a Hornet for life with a nowhere career and retires a nobody ... maybe he takes Dell Curry's franchise scoring record, I dunno, but nothing more significant than that
Less than 5
I say at least 7. He would have been even more obsessed and determined to pass Jordan's ring count.
Depends on where it is.
If LA takes place of NYC then as many as David Stern wants.
If LA takes place of Boston or a small market like Charlotte, then 0, Stern hates them all.
how the hell would any of it change? They'd still lose to whoever beat them in the West that year in the finals if they make it there.
also would probably have less finals trips because they'd still lose in the ECF to whoever beat them in the finals the years they lost
stupid thread.

FTFY.
2 Finals. He'd probably win 1 or luck out and win 2.
Do you honestly think that the '11 and '12 Lakers would've beaten the '11 and '12 Heat? Delusional.

They unfortunately lose to Detroit in the ECF in 2004.

same with boston in 2008
but then again kenneth is very special
op is a retard
lmao how it would be any different? kobe usually loses to a top seed in the west so he'll lose to the WCF winner anyways, and no way in hell would Kobe's LA would go past the Pistons, the Celtics or even the Heat
Didn't Kobe play his worst against Eastern Conference contenders? That's why he was at his worst in the Finals. No?
[QUOTE=Nash]same with boston in 2008

Yeah, I missed that one.
He'd make The finals damn near every year, that's for sure.

The Lakers lost to the Celtics and Pistons
How would they made it to the Finals?
And u know damn well the Lakers arent
3. He would never make the finals if he met Lebron.
6 rings
What would the ring total be if LeBron was in Kobe's shoes (played on the Lakers) and Kobe played in Cleveland.
LeBron = ?
Kobe = ?
Lebron = 8
Kobe= 0

Lebron = 0 (1st rounds would be like the finals he's got through his career, and we all know 2/6)
Kobe = 9

So Kobe would beat the the 2004-7 Pistons or the 2008 celtics? Would he even be a match for the big 3 heat? Lmao

Even if for arguments sake they were able to keep Kobe from the promise land for the few years they were dominant between them, that's still like 17 more years a prime Kobe would be in a weak ass East, feasting. :lol
You tryna make it sound like either of those Teams were dynasties who had the East on lock for years, and Kobe essentially did beat the 08 Celtics Team in 2010. That was the same fuccing core, loser. :facepalm

You do realize the East is filled with Great Defensive Teams? Kobe would also have to beat the 2003-2006 Pistons, 2004-2006 Heat, Big 3 Celtics, and the Big 3 Heat to go to the Finals every year :oldlol:
The 2010 Celtics also were older than the 2008 Celtics and weren't as great albeit still good.

:roll:
Yeah the legendary teams you are mentioning specifically had good defenses but the East is just trash. That's BAD OFFENSE you witness not good defense 99% of the time.

The 2010 celtics were not even in the same breath as the 08 celtics idiot, one won 66 games and the other 50.
So Kobe wouldn't even beat those teams, and then to top it off he would eventually lose to the WCF like he did in those years.
For example, if he does somehow manage to beat the Pistons in 05? He loses to the Spurs easily, like he did that year, in 11? He somehow beats the heat? Gets swept By the Mavs in the finals, like he did that year
Please, kobe would still have the same ring count, with probably more loses in the finals, grow up

You clutch on to those to two highly touted defensive squads who weren't even a factor beyond 3 very good years. There were more Teams who made the Finals out East aside from two Teams ya know, and trust me Kobe would've torched every single one of them just as much as Lebron could, it's hilarious you're even trying to make this argument.
Yet all you rest your hat on is the only two Teams Kobe lost to in a Finals, what about the other 5 trips jack ass? :facepalm

The 2010 Celtics were deeper than their 50 Wins but still nowhere near as great as the 2008 Celtics.
