As you can see, Curry won a championship in 2015 without having to do NEARLY as much as MJ did.

This season, his proportion of scoring nearly the same thru 25 games, except Currry gets 25% from transition and MJ only ato 7% from transition in 1997 and 1998.... And let's see if Curry can score half his team's 4th quarter points in the playoffs like MJ while winning a championship like MJ did.

Btw, MJ played more minutes at the same proportion, so his overall percentage of team points was higher - he scored 30% of his team's points for all his 6 rings, whereas Curry is only scoring 27% of his team's total points this season.

Forget "what if"... We don't need to make stuff up - MJ won 2 championships so we know what happened.

He won 2 championships in 1997 and 1998 while scoring 50% of his team's 4th quarter points while he was on the floor, compared to 40.9% for Curry in 2015 Finals, or 14% for Lebron in 2011 Finals.

1. This a purely volume based stat...how do we know if MJ wasn't just chucking up shots? Please post FG%/eFG% so we know what's up. Sixers Iverson probably had stats like this...but his FG% probably made it not so impressive.



2. Lebron is an elite passer and Curry is a very good passer...this stat would penalize them for using their amazing passing skills.

Decrease in points for LeBron in the RS happened once in '12, once in the PO's in 14, and twice in the Finals in '11 and '14. There were a bunch of blowouts in the EC PO's and Finals in '14. That would explain the decline in production. '11 was obviously a choke.

Hey dumb****, care to provide stats for the remainder of MJ's years?

Again, '14 PO's and Finals were basically blowouts and LeBron didn't even play much in some of the 4th Q's. '11 was a legitimate choke job. '12, he was playing only 7.5 minutes a game in the 4th. It really doesn't work like that, when LeBron is playing fewer minutes in the 4th because his teams are winning before than.

Actually, LeBron has been one of the best clutch players since the '05 season, IIRC. Better than Kobe. There's a ton of data to prove it as well.
