Angela Merkel, doing what Hitler and Wilhelm Couldn't
You knew an East German woman taking control of Deutschland like she did was a straight G move from the jump, but what she has done since, straight mad-scientist-gangsta with a strong pimp hand, she played the UK like the pasty fat dumb fakks they are and got them to beat themselves, and now...
Germany rules Europe.
Looks like WWI and WWII were a waste of time, who would of thought 70 years later the uneducated working class scum of England would use their petty hatred to hand Germany the keys to something so many Britons died for just two generations ago.
Brexit was an embarrassment.
Shame.
The fat, pasty shit eaters with bad teeth spent so much time worrying about brown folk and Pollacks that they voted away their influence.
Take away the UK's 17% stake in the EU economy, and Germany's 20% stake now balloons to near 25%, and if France leaves (they got the brown fear there too) watch in bubble up to 1/3, and with patsies like Italy and Spain who are always willing dance partners, Germany is essentially the rulers of Europe.
How did she do it.
She let immigrants in, she saw the demographics, the shrinking population and made a bold move for the future. Germany never carried the load in the past so they are making up for lost time.
She knew the Pommies and the Frogs would see this, panic and their far right would rise and they would vote themselves out of Europe, all over a fear of brown people.
Brown people gifted the EU to Germany.
WWII, a complete waste of time if the end result is Germany controlling the continent.
Merkel, fully certified G

Re: Angela Merkel, doing what Hitler and Wilhelm Couldn't
Germany isn't even a sovereign nation.
They are not owning anyone.
They are basically just carrying the burden of "the EU" because they are the most populous nation in Europe and have the highest GDP/innovation.
The EU is a sham and eventually going to collapse. It will be as glorious as the collapse of the Soviet Union.

They are a sovereign nation with a burgeoning empire. Access to cheap resources (both human and natural) and undue influence over their continent.
They run the continent, and they will dictate the terms for Britain's (and eventually France's) financial stability.
Germany and the EU doesn't need to trade with England (unless they want whisky, but Scotland may be back soon) they can get everything elsewhere, but the UK needs Europe.
Merkel has them by the nuts, thanks to Brexit she is now controlling their economic well being.
Germany is freer than it has ever been.
-
Re: Angela Merkel, doing what Hitler and Wilhelm Couldn't
The UK still has a 17% stake in the EU economy. They are the EU's biggest customer and the 5th largest economy in the world. The EU needs the UK infinitely more than the UK needs the EU.
Have you heard of the Commonwealth bro? It's a trade bloc of 53 nations that the UK is apart of. Now it is finally able to trade freely with the Commonwealth nations again.

She was doing a great job in Germany but her handling of the Greek bailout and "refugee crisis" and subsequent cover-up of the mass rapes committed by those "refugees" has destroyed her legacy.
You posted this two years too late dude. Merkel is on her way out. She has even spoken publicly about the possibility of stepping down and not finishing her full term as Chancellor.
The EU is unsustainable and dying. Did you like Nigel Farage sonning all of them to their faces? XD

They traded up from Germany and replaced them with India, the second biggest economy in the world.
They replaced the snobby arrogant Frenchies with friendly and eager to please Pakistani traders.
They get awesome cheap produce from South Africa rather than overpriced crap from Belgium.
They replace the welfare leech Mediterranean and Baltic nations with awesome places like Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Nigeria is one of the largest economies in Africa.
Ghana and Kenya are rising near-first world nations.
Any way you look at this, the UK holds a MASSIVE W.
The British Empire does indeed have potential to rise again if they want it badly enough.

Merkel will have to get more tax and more revenue from the other countries still in the EU.

Re: Angela Merkel, doing what Hitler and Wilhelm Couldn't
Italy is about to go bankrupt. If the EU is able to survive the collapse of Italy they won't survive Spain, Portugal and another Greece bailout. The EU has once again failed to respond to all this. They are trying to speed up Albania joining not realizing that you can't keep on adding poor countries into the mix and hoping things will pan out.
The EU is a sinking ship, even if the U.K decided to stay in 10 years time the Eurozone would still collapse anyway. We need to get out and companies and investors have to start looking at other countries which are currently booming as investment projects. Turning our backs on the common wealth was one of the worst mistakes my country has made.
The EU was always going to fail.

Lol @ thinking Germany benefits from anyway from being in the EU.
They have to bail out every country financially, as well as take the most uneducated third world refugees, spending resources to teach them, house them, feed them.....all while these refugees who arn't even citizens of the country give nothing back whatsoever except go around harassing women.

So you admit the nature of the EU then? An economic empire that buys up client states? Ooook... Just not sure why the UK would want to help Germany in this project of theirs.
Germans have been assholes about the whole thing: Greece, and the other periphery states, are failing largely because they can't devalue their currency and all their goods are made uncompetitive by their being in the euro--the easiest solution? Borrow money at the cheap rates being in the eurozone provides--borrow from German banks to buy German products. There is obviously a bad incentives structure here, and a quite obvious moral hazard.
It's why a currency union can't possibly work without the willingness to transfer wealth; instead of doing this, and correcting the asymmetries of the euro currency, they just forced a system of austerity down their throats that has no chance of ever working.
