I don
Shaq was a much more dominant rebounder and shot blocker. Not even close. And I know what some of you are thinking. That he’s supposed to be a better rebounder because he’s bigger and plays center. Well... Lebron is bigger than Jordan and plays forward..
Shaq had 28 rebounds and 15 blocks in the same game. Also, Shaq has a higher field goal percentage than Lebron. You always praise Bran for his percentage. Lol Shaq shot 58 percent! You talk about Lebron being 6 ft 8 270. Shaq 7 ft 1 325. He literally broke boards during games.
Shaq won with Wade and wasn’t even in his prime. And he didn’t need Chris Bosh to go along with Wade lol.
I have seen both play. You can’t tell me Bran is better and don’t dare bringing up assists. Shaq was more dominant than Lebron ever was. The only thing I’ll give him the edge in is longevity and long term conditioning.
This is why many of us don’t like the hype of Bran. We know it’s wrong. If you just go watch some YouTube clips you will see that Shaq was a freak of nature and Lebron could never match that kind of physicality.

I think almost everyone acknowledges that shaq has one of the top 2 or 3 individual peaks of all time

l39ron never did, it's just you keep hearing about how great lbj is over and over and over from his stans and his online nerd team that eventually you actually start believing it
they keep repeating it and over a decade it finally starts to rot your insides like the cancer he is

100% Shaq more dominant that LeBron. Hell, without Shaq, Kobe would be known as nothing more than just a rapist. Shaq helped RapeBe build his legacy and gifted him 3 rings.

To be fair, Lebron could have done the same for Kobe. The guy made Boobie Gibson and Marion Chalmers relevant.

In the East. No way Lebron goes through the early 2000 West 4 times.

I've always had Shaq ahead of Kobe and Duncan.
If someone wanted to put Shaq even ahead of Lebron, they could make that argument.

Hey if you want to judge players on only half of their careers like you just did and not provide context to "Resumes", then we can't take your argument seriously :confusedshrug:

They only played 8 seasons together. Kobe stayed on the Lakers and played through the bad years, while Shaq played with Penny in Orlando, Wade in Miami, Nash in Phoenix, Lebron in Cleveland and he finished his career as a ****ing Celtic :facepalm .

Yes, Shaq was a top 40 player of all time before Kobe even become a starter in the NBA. Shaq did A LOT of great things before Kobe.
You can't just compare them based on 2001-2010.
Also, Kobe's finish to his career might have been worse than Shaq's...
Shaq's peak/prime was slightly more dominant than Kobe's and they have very similar longevity.

I'm not just comparing based on 01-10. I'm talking about Shaq in Orlando, Shaq in Miami, Shaq in Phoenix, Shaq in Cleveland and Shaq in Boston.
There's nothing worse than a Laker great blowing his achilles and ending his career as a Celtic.
Kobe tore his achilles but came back, broke a bone in his knee and still came back, tore his rotator cuff and still came back in his 20th season, played 66 games and finished his career with a 60-pt game that included a game-winner.

Hey, we'll just have to agree to disagree :confusedshrug:
When comparing similar players, I'm taking the player who had the best peak/prime, and for me that is Shaq>Kobe>Duncan.
They are all clearly close and you can't go wrong with any of them :confusedshrug:

Shaq prime seasons without Kobe: 3 - times playoffs missed: 0
Kobe prime seasons without Shaq: 8-10 - times playoffs missed: 1
Shaq was definately more impactful than Kobe, but he needed a player like Kobe to win. Any great center needs a feeder/wingscorer. That's the nature of the game.

Re: I don
LeBron has had greater durability and consistency than Shaq. Shaq in the tail end of his prime began to kind of dog it in the regular season, and would sit too many games. But I don

Re: I don
I’m putting Duncan, Shaq and Kobe ahead of Lebron. Hakeem too. Lebron is below those players in my opinion but ahead of Wade and Paul Pierce. I think him and Dirk are close. Dirk carried teams in the West and also beat the big 3.
