Yeah, the guy who quite arguably has the least amount of integrity in the history of the game... let's take his opinion as gospel.

You are right. A random poster's opinion should count more.
You are right. A random poster's opinion should count more.
A poster on this board that isn't a 100% troll? Not count more, but they're likely to be as equally good or bad... so... not more, but equal, yeah, I'd say so.
Michael Jordan's dogshit basketball brain and LeBron James' dogshit basketball brain in terms of their abilities to evaluate talent and put together rosters has 100% proven this. That argument is dead forever. Only a complete mouth breathing dipshit moron would believe that the ability to play basketball at an extremely high level correlates to the ability to analyze basketball and evaluate talent at an extremely high level.

I think players do know who they have a tougher time to play against. As overall talent evaluators they may be bad but they have to know who for them was the tougher matchup.
I think players see other players as individuals and not as team players most of the time. So I think Harden say on 1 on 1 Kobe was a tougher opponent. Which may be true even if LeBron is a more valuable player 1 on 5.
2012 still stings I guess :(
Having a tougher time guarding player A than player B doesn't mean that player A is better than player B. That's... not how that works at all. Like literally not at all.
The question is who is better... the question isn't who is better at a 1 on 1 pickup game or who is better at iso scoring... the question is who is better.
James Harden has proved that his brain is dogshit. It's ok... most NBA players have dogshit brains and couldn't be competent GMs.
I can't wait until the day LeBron owns a team and promptly runs it further into the ground just like MJ.
Having a tougher time guarding player A than B someone doesn't mean that player A is better than player B. That's... not how that works at all. Like literally not at all.
I agree. But I think when players are asked the majority will answer the question as if it were 1 on 1.

Except that's not what the interviewer asked..ISHiot.
Of course a chucker will think Chuckbe is better.
Except that's not what the interviewer asked..ISHiot.
Actually you're right, the question was "who is stronger?" in which case that can be interpreted as mentally or physically.
Physically it's 0% doubt LeBron.
Mentally it's 0% doubt Kobe.
But we all know that the real meaning behind the question was "who is better?"
Yeah, the guy who quite arguably has the least amount of integrity in the history of the game... let's take his opinion as gospel.
So much salt here. :oldlol:
Of course a chucker will think Chuckbe is better.
You full of sodium, too. :lol
Doesnt matter who says it, they'll find a way to discredit. Bird says it? HE SAID IT IN 2013. Harden says it? NAH LOL ITS HARDEN THO.
So fking cringe man.
Shaq, MJ, Kenyon Martin, Ron Artest, James Harden, Wade, and Stephen Jackson have ALL said Kobe is the better basketball player.
...but a Ben Simmons/LeBron stan is obviously a better talent evaluator.
LeBron stans are the weirdest fanbase on earth.
The fact that they're arrogant enough to devalue the opinion of legends who played professional basketball is very telling.
They're not fans of basketball....

All it took was a 2min James Harden clip showing respect for Kobe for this nerd to practically off himself :lol

Lol @ the meltdowns! delicious!
you guys should have avoided it like the plague
Do you think the reason players almost universally pick Kobe over LeBron is because they know LeBron's a massive juicer?
KOBE STANS have to be the dumbest
The question was who is stronger? He said Kobe..
We all know that is bs but Harden is close to Kobe so he answered Kobe..
ELITEBALLER :facepalm
Fake news strikes again

Stephen Jackson is on record saying Lebron is the better player.. Wade said Lebron was the second best player of all time.. Ron Artest said Lebron was the greatest of all time..
Paul Pierce, Jalen Rose, Billups, Baron Davis, JJ redick, Jay Williams, JERRY WEST :lol , COUSY, DR J, OSCAR ROBERTSON, jim jackson said Lebron was better than Kobe, Devin Booker said Lebron is the GOAT, Steve Kerr said Lebron is up there with MJ, ..
Forget about all of these guys opinions.. JUST FOCUS ON JERRY WEST who is the best judge of talent the NBA has seen... He says BRON as good as MJ..
THE SAME JERRY WEST who is a mentor to KOBE..

You're trying too hard
Don't think anyone said anything about them being able to analyze talent at an extremely high level, what was implied was they could analyze talent a lot better than YOU, which doesn't require having an extremely high anything
You dudes think too highly of your ability to look at basketball reference

Its pretty funny how people think that making poor draft picks... Projecting raw teenage prospects into adulthood has any....any correlation to them being able to tell you how good a guy was in real time, in prime, head to head with them. Like this guy Orlando has anyyyy perspective that's worth considering over a players.
Its next level delusion.
:applause:
Who do you think will be next to say Kobe is better than LeBron?
:pimp:

DesperateBe stans.
But but some handicapped kid on Insidehoops says Lebron is better!
Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden
who does Bron have? Nick Wright? Scottie Pippen? :kobe:
:D
Most NBA players say this. At least most NBA players who are 24 years an older, particularly those who have played against the two. The group of people that I see saying that Lebron is better are media people, Lebron stans, and like Warriorfan said a handicapped kid on ISH. Though I guess one person doesn't qualify as a group, but when that person has over 50 alts with 25 of them banned...
James Harden is correct.
Kobe all day over libron.
Not even close
