And you don't need "depth".. role players abound everywhere and are interchangeable - it's just a matter of who will get lucky enough to gain noteriety by playing alongside stars, and who must toil in obscurity without getting to play with stars/on a contender

The bulls didn't have depth after Pippen/Grant... Shaq/kobe didn't have depth... Lebron/Wade/Bosh didn't have depth..

You just need some stiffs like paxson, Battier, or Derek Fisher - and these guys abound everywhere - it's just a matter of who will get the lucky Van Fleet ticket to fit like a glove next to a couple stars, versus stiffs that never get that chance and toil away in obscurity..
