D'Angelo Russell is playing the Lakers
Mark my words
No way in hell he signs back with the Lakers.
There are reports they want d'Lo and D'Lo is "interested". WRONG.
Not to mention they apparently want to offer him a $19 mil deal, which is WAY LESS than he's worth.
He's just using them to up his offer from OTHER teams AND to stick it to the Lakers.
Lakers gonna be once again outplayed and be stuck at the end of the line for Kemba and end up w Vucevic.
D'LO IS NOT SIGNING W THE LAKERS. HE'S PLAYING THEM

Re: D'Angelo Russell is playing the Lakers
Every player wants to go to LA. If the Nets (or whoever else) don't offer him significantly more than the Lakers (and they can't if they are getting KD and Irving) he's going there. Unfortunately the city of LA is a huge built-in advantage to attract free agents plus now they have great players that they lacked when he was there. With everyone that was there when he snitched on Young gone there's no reason not to return if he can't get more money.

Re: D'Angelo Russell is playing the Lakers
D'lo isn't "playing" the Lakers. Him and his agent are floating out the idea of him signing there to increase his value. Same thing Doc Rivers did. Do you really think the Lakers want him? Who is being "played" in this scenario?
Lakers would go after Brogdon as a mid tier free agent before D'lo. :lol

The Lakers definitely DO want D'Lo. He's the perfect fit on a team w Davis and LeBron.. do you not see the comments of Laker fans praising him?
He's playing them

D'Lo is not turning down an extra 7-8 million when a team like Dallas or Knicks will easily offer him.

Sad times to be a Celtics fan.
Biggest splash being discussed for you guys is Julius Randle or trading for Steven Adams. :(

Re: D'Angelo Russell is playing the Lakers
i think the interest is mutual. but ultimately it will come down to $$$ and other teams will have the better offer.

If LA offers him all that they can it's still a great payday and for as long as James is prime he can play for championships. James may not have much peak left but they should contend for one year at least. Knicks have no clear path to greatness, Dallas may be a good spot but Dallas is being linked to everyone.

Lakers are going for a big name or are getting depth. D'lo is an 43% chucker that the Lakers do not want.
I see comments from Lakers fans calling D'angeslow and snitch... if that's what you mean. :pimp:

Just stop.
No young player is turning down $7-8 million in their prime. Maybe at the end of their careers but you have no common sense.

You think a young man in the prime of his life would reject the city of LA and somehow I lack "common sense." I suppose, hiven that you're you, you can think that way.

You can't. Because it doesn't exist.
Simon is one of the biggest losers ever.
Cliff Notes on Simon:
- Inbred from Wichita who stanned the Thunder/Durant in 2012 thinking it was their time
- After LeBron spanked Durant's ass it ruined him psychologically to the point he became bipolar/schizo and started stanning LeBron
- Got bullied by LeBron-like black highschool students and stuffed into his locker. Dropped out of highschool
- 24 years old, still living with his mom and no highschool diploma
- Has like 20+ alts (only reason Jeff doesn't ban him is because it generates money and he's afraid of being sued if the kid offs himself)
Worry about your OKC thunder desperately trying to get out of paying for luxury tax. :lol

Re: D'Angelo Russell is playing the Lakers
Lakers fans if u had the choice would u take combo of brogdon and Green or Beverly and Dlo.. IMO both would give lakers legit shot at championship and should be the way they go over max FA..

Dlo can't play sg...
If those are my 2 choices, I'm taking Brogdon and Green. Realistically, Brogdon will probably get a 25m/yr offer from Bucks so he will probably be off the table fast. Lakers can't get into bidding war at that range.
Beverley and Green may be more realistic :confusedshrug:

Beverly and Green would be nice if they also could land Lopez. I’d take 3 solid starters like that over just Dlo.. now add Dlo for right price and still get a Danny Green Type at SG I’m in..
