Irrelevant? Its funny because most half time shows during the playoffs would mention the Lakers. Most NBA topics and media were obsessed with the Lakers. We had no assets after the championship runs. We started with no picks or players. It takes time to rebuild from that. And we're back. Pretty simple.

Boston was convinced they were getting AD. That Ainge was collecting everything for AD and when it came down to it, AD came out and said NEVER to them. Hilarious.

The difference is, they aged a lot, injured a lot, put on a lot of miles these years and no long in prime except AD.
