Because in the mid 2000s Nike had to pour all it's resources into one mega star and since Adidas already did the ground work for establishing Kobe's sneaker presence, Nike had to prioritize LeBron to the media over Kobe and establish him for the long run. •Wade averaged 15.2 PPG on 43.8% against the Spurs in the 2014 finals. He was dealing with injuries to be fair, as was Pippen for some of the series you posted.
