And it's not close. Sorry mj and Bron fans. Wilt could jump higher and further than both even though he was 7 foot plus. He was also way stronger and as fast or faster.

Bronbron23 can you show proof that Wilt is a freak of nature? :applause: Thx
Op looking to get them cheeks clapped
Or at least the best athlete for his size. Although David Robinson was pretty damn amazing too.

Nah. Wilt was an elite college track athlete. He put up elite numbers in sprinting, jumping and throwing. Strength wise it's widely known he could bench 500 lbs and deadlift even more. He really was a freak of nature
OP is right.

LeBron still wins, he is faster has better reaction times, much better endurance and can jump higher, we barely even have any footage of Wilt but LeBron on the other hand

There's tons of footage of Wilt looking like a clearly superior athlete... despite barely any of his career existing on film.

Because he did a reverse dunk?
Wilt was a mix of David Robinson and Karl Malone in his prime athletically. He is the GOAT athlete IMO.
Because he did a reverse dunk?
If that's all you got from this you clearly are too young to have actually watched him play in the early 90s.

There's obviously not as much video of wilt but there's enough to get an idea. Not sure why you think Bron is faster and can jump higher. Wilt was an elite high jumper and sprinter.

What athletic attributes did Karl Malone have on Robinson?

He was fast
What athletic attributes did Karl Malone have on Robinson?
Strength definetly. Maybe Speed (running to get a pass from Stockton coast to coast) Agility, Quickness and Leaping Ability goes to D-Rob.
Gobert does that dunk often
Does Gobert also run up and down the court like LeBron James or Paul George? David Robinson moved like a surpreme athletic SF while being a legit 7 foot big man.

Speed? Are you joking. David Robinson moved as well as someone like Scottie Pippen while being a legit big man. Robinson was jumping hurdles in college. Malone isn't even close to as fast as Robinson was.

Not sure about that. Malone was fast. Would have been a great defensive end or outside linebacker or tight end with his great hands

lol Karl Malone was never capable of doing something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0YfOkNda8g

...strength
really? You didn't know this? Robinson was a twig when he entered the league. He was a shredded looking ...twig. It's possible to be cut but not be strong. That's why Sabonis abused him in the Olympics prior to the NBA.
When Wilt and Robinson were present in the 97 50 greatest Robinson looked like he could literally disappear behind Wilt's frame. Wilt was massive. And strong. Robinson was graceful and agile - also qualities Wilt had. But Wilt was more than just that.

Ewing ran him down and I know Pat wasn't in Karl's league getting up and down the court

poking the ball and finishing with a dunk in transition!?
Yes, Karl Malone did that probably inumerable times.

It's about the movement you child. He is moving like He's Scottie Pippen or Grant Hill when he is much bigger than both of them. Nobody his size has ever had the ridiculous mix of speed, quickness, and agility he had.

I said maybe not definetly regarding speed. Strength wise Malone was stronger than Robinson.
Wilt was a combination of both. Check out the way he moves in his 20s while playing for the Globetrotters
If that's all you got from this you clearly are too young to have actually watched him play in the early 90s.
I have watched him play. A lot of him playing. He's not as athletic as Wilt and that's from watching countless hours of both of them. His athleticism is more on par with Bill Russell than Wilt and that's no diss to Robinson. He's long and agile but he was never as big or as strong as Wilt. Robinson was 227lbs in the 1988 Olympics, and 235lbs as an NBA rookie. He bulked up to 265 at his absolute heaviest where as Wilt was a 258lb rookie that bulked up to 320lbs and often played above 300. They are apples and oranges in athletic ability not due to agility but due to size and strength.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKVqpXl3M18 The way he moved was ridiculous when you take in the fact that he's a legit 7 feet.
And just look how dominant he was defensively, 1st in blocks at this point with 5.0 a game (lmfao) and fifth in the league in steals with 2.3. Just a complete terror.
...yeah...he was a twig alright.
Telephoto zoom lenses fill out a figure.
Robinson retired at 265lbs, the heaviest he ever was - and he had a wrecked back those seasons and was less mobile at that weight.
As a rookie he was 235lbs. In his first olympic appearance he was 227.
Yeah, he was a twig his first several years in the league. Those years where he looked super mobile. He was never the strongest guy in the league. Ewing was stronger than Robinson and didn't look cut at all. Wilt was perhaps the strongest player in history. On a larger frame - he dwarfed Ewing when they met. And Wilt was about as agile as Robinson. I don't even consider them close as far as athletic comparisons for that reason. Wilt filled up an NBA court and couldn't be moved off a block like Boban but moved more like Robinson.

Sabas would be top 20 all time if he came to the NBA when he was actually in his prime. Love the guy and will have nothing to say bad about him ever. I adored him on the blazers.

He was still pretty damn good in the NBA considering his mobility was about 40% of what it was at his peak. Just a great basketball player.
