About our new server, forum rules, tips and suggestions, etc.

We're on our new server. It's *MUCH* stronger than any we had before.

Our new forum also loads faster, has "quick reply" and other good stuff.

We're still looking to add more color schemes. And still want to change "envelopes" to the left of topics into basketballs, etc. And to do a whole lot more. And hopefully space the topics out more.

But right now, everything is VERY GOOD! I love our home. And all of you InsideHoops forum members are appreciated a LOT. You're part of the family.

If you have any suggestions about ANYTHING, like a color scheme to add as an option, or suggestions for an additional moderator or two, or if you want to run one of our team forums (even the quiet ones get a LOT of topic reads. Even the ones with few replies, people around the world DO read what's posted there - as the views show) or anything else, suggest it here!

And, if something is GOOD that you want to praise, say so too! That helps as well.

Try experimenting with a darker background too to see if you can find a nice color scheme

Those colors will bring the old ISH feeling back. Not that the current one is terrible or anything.

ISH felt nice on mobile phones until several days ago. Whatever has been changed over past 4-5 days has made ish pretty crappy on mobile. I don't know what has been changed but I pretty much have to zoom in now to read each posts. Things were better a week ago...

It could be that the website forum region has been thinned. Before, it was nice and wide, filling up full screen.

Okay, yeah I changed the width to 80%, but had forgotten that it would appear that way on tablets/phones too. So I just changed it back. Should be fine now, thanks.

At my old age I have a hard time seeing, but avy restrictions of 50x50 is way too small. Need more like 150x150 instead.

Not sure if it's been asked here already but will this site eventually get the ability to like posts someday? Because i know another forum which actually allows users to do that. Also, it'd be useful if there's an option to put links while using the forum in mobile version, unless my account is still too new to do it. :(

I saw that too. Couldn't find the actual button to give rep though and by the time I was about to ask it was gone anyway. Jeff's probably just playing around with it.
