The NFL draft is on ABC right now. Discuss!
As expected, Bengals at No. 1 pick QB Joe Burrow. The 2019 Heisman trophy-winner.
At No. 2, the Redskins drafted defensive end Chase Young, who is 6-6, 260.
And at No. 3, yet another Ohio State guy, as the Lions drafted cornerback Jeff Okudah, who is 6-1, 200.
Lions should've traded down, Lions always making bad picks.
4) Giants take offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, of Georgia, was the SEC's top offensive lineman in 2019
5) Dolphins draft quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, of Alabama, 6-0, 217, whose only issue was injuries, including a big hip injury that is hopefully past him now.
With the No. 6 pick, the Chargers took quarterback Justin Herbert, of Oregon. He won the nation's student-athlete award of 2019.
Chargers take Herbert.
Dude is gonna bust. His game tape was inconsistent af.
At No. 7, the Panthers drafted defensive tackle Derrick Brown, of Auburn. He's 6-5, 326 lbs! The 2019 SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
With the 8th pick, the Cardinals draft Isaiah Simmons, OLB, from Clemson, 6-4, 238 lbs. He plays... a lot of positions.
Browns on the clock...
about to be a wave of WRs after the Cleveland pick
At No. 9, the Jaguars draft C.J. Henderson, CB, from Florida.
And at No. 10, the Browns took Jedrick Wills Jr, a right tackle, of Alabama
Why was Giants' GM Gettleman wearing a mask in his own home?
With the 11th pick, the Jets draft Mekhi Becton, OT, from Louisville. He's 6-7, 364, and also played bball in high school, and is way more athletic than his big size/weight would suggest.
At No. 12, the LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (!) draft Henry Ruggs, wide receiver, Alabama. He's 5-11, 188 and can RUN.
What's with the people in these draft rooms who look completely uninterested in the draft while the rest of the family celebrates. It's only a couple people. Maybe they're just in shock.
That's enough picks for me. Will check the other results at the end of the round.
If any of these picks surprised you, then share!

 the guy is so damn weird.
His drafting hasn't been bad but almost all his signings were. I'm good with this pick, OLine and DLine are major needs.
Dallas with a A++++ pick
Primetime prob fappin real hard right now in quarantine, his team just picked a Sooner :lol
LMAO... we got the best WR in the draft.
Un fcking believable
Dallas needs to draft CB with the next 2 picks
Packers Fans so mad right now.
traded up for QB Love.
Packers should be mad, Rodgers said he wants to play to age 40 and they have big needs.
Terrible terrible pick

There is a IT specialist coming to his house so he want to have social distance with him.
Umm, I like and feel comfortable with this Giants pick... protect Jones/Barkley is the key. Simmons was the guy I liked the most tho.
There's going to be some talent available at pick #51, but if I were in the Boys front office I'd be looking to trade up for an immediate contributor on defense.
We could still get a solid DB in the second round

Absolutely
The CBs we have now (Awuzi, Brown, Lewis) are all decent to "good" and we found them all in later rounds. Awuzi RD2, Lewis RD3...Brown RD6
we really do need a competent Center though...that needs to be figured out

I think they may go with McGovern, and we still have Looney

We also screw the Eagles over big time.

Eagles pick wasn't good. Jefferson was still on the board but they instead went for Reagor.. Makes no sense

I don't understand why they added Love. They expect Love to sit there as backup next 5yrs?? I hope Rodgers asks to be traded (imagine if my Colts could get him in a trade next year)
LMAO... we got the best WR in the draft.
...and Cowboys will still fall flat yet again in early rounds for the 26th time in a row :lol

either way it will be that much more entertaining to watch... We have power on Offense. Even if Cooper or Lamb gets injured at anytime in the next 4 years... we still have an elite #1 on the field.
We just need to make sure there's a season first... and RIP to Dak's brother, $hit is sad, and makes this draft steal bittersweet, but 2020 has been $hit from the start so we all just gotta fight through it.

close to an even trade for Chargers and Patriots... but the Chargers got value in their pick, probably pulled the trigger at the right time.
Lions got Swift... Kerryon Johnson & Swift is a good combo

Damn... Giants got Xavier McKinney, they will need him against Cooper & Lamb twice a year.
I wanted Jeudy or Lamb, but can't be mad at Ruggs. Fastest WR in the draft and he actually has some skill, improving route runner and has great hands. I'll take it, since Cooper left we have had WRs who don't provide much speed, we need someone to stretch the field.
Not sure what to think of Damon Arnette, he's considered a reach, he's already at the age of 24, not an elite 40 time, but he can cover and is an excellent tackler for a CB, he allowed the lowest passer rating in man coverage in 2019. I would have been happier with the pick if we traded down and grabbed him.
