Posters who have never changed their avatar

Are these people crazy? Or do you think it's cause they don't know how to change it?


Here are some posters who in the 10 or so years that I've been here have never changed it:

Yeah I was going to say that. That jstern used to have the same picture, but in black and white. I also used to have a Goku avatar.

What is the pfp history? How can I see yours.

Many people don't really pay attention to a poster's name and their avatar becomes their face. According to some people I'm a great poster. Again, that's not me saying it. But as good of a poster as jstern is, if he were to change his avatar a lot of people won't know that he's still posting. Patrick Chewing himself didn't even know that I used to have a different avatar.

Took me like two weeks to realize that Walk on Water changed his avatar, and he's great. Well, it actually took me 2 minutes.

If kblaze changes his avatar, forget about it. He too also doesn't pay attention to poster's names.

For 8 years I had no idea who RRR3 was, despite the fact that he was getting bullied. And I had no idea who MrFonzworth was until he told me something like Capablanca sucks and Magnus would destroy him. I thought man, Capablanca has these fools shook.

And I didn't really know Warriorfan until I started seeing him make these vicious wheelchair jokes, and that's when I also became aware of Simon and that he has dozens of alts.

That's just my personality Axe. I'm very inclusive. In real life I'm very aware and conscious of the emotions of everybody in the room, and I like to make people feel that they are part of the group. In ISH it translate into me mentioning others. I think Trump is like that if you see him at his rallys, or just during any random meetings. I had to force myself to not mention others posters, including you.

Most years I add the pic with the Santa hat, but beyond that I haven't changed my avatar since my first year on here when I had an Otis Thorpe picture.

yeah i have changed my avatar a couple times over the years, but whenever I try something else it feels wrong and I end up going back to captain murphy after a week or two

I have definitely switched to new avatars once or twice in my ~11 years on this site... I dont really remember which avatars I tried but something involving pepe would be a good bet :oldlol:

Thanks, I think it fits me quite well (otherwise I def would have changed by now).

If you have ever watched the show sealab 2021, I think the character has a lot in common with my ISH posting style and identity too.
