I would be shocked if Rodgers wins it. Its not that he doesnt deserve it... I just cant see the media giving this trophy to a guy who not only "lied" ( ) about being vaxxed, but then committed the cardinal sin of treating his covid infection with ivermectin :oldlol:
Should be Jonathon Taylor or Justin Herbert.

I am a big Herbert fan. Hes one of the only good football players to ever come from the state of Oregon (born in Eugene, where he went to college), and I think he has all the tools to be a top 5 QB in the league for many years to come... but this season his MVP case is pretty weak compared to Rodgers IMO.
Herbert - 4.65k yrds, 67% comp, 35 TD, 15 INT, 99.5 rtg, 9-7 record (to be fair he plays in a VERY difficult division)
Rodgers - 4.0k yards, 68% comp, 35 TD, 4 INT, 111 rtg, 13-2 record (yes the team is 13-3 but one of those losses came with Rodgers on the sideline)

It will be a qb. It usually is. I wish other positions like rb got their due, but it's not going to happen. I can't even name you a non-qb winner in last 20yrs outside of LT and AP. It's pretty much all been qbs.
It’s going to be Brady, I doubt the voters would give it to Aaron after the COVID stuff and JT didn’t crack 2k which is a requirement for RB MVP contention nowadays

Yes, JT didn't break 2k rushing. He still did break 2k yards overall and 20 tds overall in 16 games. Only 9 others have ever done it..
Dickerson 1x https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DickEr00.htm

Larry Johnson 1x https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JohnLa00.htm

Priest Holmes 2x https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HolmPr00.htm
Faulk 2x https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FaulMa00.htm
And now JT. 20 tds is very hard to do combined with that many yards
Edit: Here's the 2k rushing club: https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/running-backs-with-2000-yard-seasons .. 8 people so yeah 2 guys less
Is Brady really a lock? Rodgers is the favorite to win it according to Vegas.
Although it's shame Brady's great 2 min comeback last Sunday got overshadowed by what Antonio Brown did.
Brady shouldn't even be in the top five to be frank...
1. TJ Watt
2. Cooper Kupp
3. Jonathan Taylor
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Micah Parsons
This whole we gotta give the award to a quarterback it's just annoying at this point.

Brady is leading the league in almost every passing category and is carrying a banged up Bucs team. He is the top 2 choice by far, remove Brady from the Bucs and they’re not a playoffs team

A writer has already come out and said he’s not voting for Aaron

You could swap Brady with 66% of the QB's in the league and they would be successful, between that O-line and the weapons Brady has. Kupp, Taylor, and Watt are having all-time seasons at their positions.

This is stupid and doesn’t help your argument at all. Derrick Henry went out and the Titans are still the number one seed. Those positions aren’t even a 1/4 worth of a what QB is.
Anyways Brady is also putting all time records in yardage so
hate the Pack ,
Brady gets my vote
Hate them both. I hope it's a tie.

I think the Titans went 5-1 in their Division which is why they were able to get that 1 seed. That's why I would have the Colts RB at 3...Watt is the reason Pittsburgh made the playoffs and had an all-time year. So he would be my pick.
LOL at Brady and Rodgers being "MVPS" after this weekend, neither guy might even end up playing next season.

Rodgers is not retiring. He might potentially be with another team.
Brady is the question mark. He will either be back with Bucs or retire. I feel he can probably play a final season, but I don't expect him to be as good as this past season.
Rogers has one shot left :oldlol::oldlol::oldlol:

Brady not only wants to play another season , he wants to be the all time super winning QB as well as playing in the league when he hits 50
Rogers is going to the Windy City and restore the super bowl ways...
:D

Brady played like he was in his early 30s this season, he threw for the most yards of any season in his career as well as the 2nd most touchdowns... no way in hell is he retiring.
That said, I wouldnt be surprised if he leaves the bucs for a different team.

You should hear the way he's been speaking about it.
Brady will definitely win it because he is retiring. He probably retired right now knowing that the MVP votes are around the corner. Sportswriters will award him for that.
(Not that Brady retired to win the MVP, but the timing of the retirement announcement is interesting)

So the votes are in already?
So the votes are in already?
Yes, they usually announce the winner before the super bowl or some shit like that.
