they cant dunk, they dont excite the crowd. Noone wants to go watch girls play. end of story

LOL!! The WNBA players make a low sum, but it is the price you pay for being sport that a lot of folks think negative of. That is why so many of them go overseas after the season is over, to make extra cash, plus keep their skills tight.
I am just glad that we have the WNBA and I hope that they can continue to grow. The fans will come around and see what they are missing; just basketball without too much trash talking. I love watching the WNBA.

girls dont know anything about sports, let alone the game of basketball, 30 K???? I will bet that you can give that money to charities and local organizations, rather than throw away on a losing cause, which is EXACTLY what the Waste NBA is. WNBA doesnt appeal to anybody. It needs to go away.
because the league operates in the red for the entirety of its existence. Last season was the first season they made a profit.
In a perfect world, sure men and women would make the same, but frankly it;s just not possible or practical in this situation. Where would you even pull from to give them equal pay? Take even more money from the real NBA?
$30,000 for 4 months of work? That's not bad at all. breaks down to $7,500 a month. I think that is very good money.
A lot of them go play overseas in the offseason also...
Actually, in San Antonio the starting salary for a teacher is $42,000. So it would seem teachers in SA make more money than WNBA players. Hey, why not WNBA player during the summer, teacher the rest of the year! lol
Shanna Crossley of the Silver Stars recently bought a $163,000 house in San Antonio. I guess she's going to live here permanently, she's also in some local commercials for girls sports leagues. However, she's married so her husband probably brings in some money too.
She's hot though.

Some girls do know about sports and some of them know a lot more about sports(including the game of basketball) then guys do ...and the WNBA is not a waste ,just because their girls doesn't mean they cant play basketball!!!:no:

But for real, it sucks that teachers make bad money and it sucks that the women of the WNBA don't make the money they deserve..and if the NBA funds some of their organization then they're just being greedy.
I think everyone is missing the point...3 months in any gig I will take 10g/month! to just shoot ball and practice and feature in a couple of commercials.... plus dont have to worry about getting shot or bombed by a student...please!
it takes teachers 9months to make that..i'm looking at short term..then the benefit of going overseas and get the real dough...oh and its tax free!

I heard players with 4 years of xperience in the league get their own hotel rooms, the rest gotta share...so whats that tell you.
