Who is winning the West? with KD & Kyrie moving out West.
Lebron already won the season when he became the all time scoring record holder.
The playoffs etc are immaterial and are basically exhibition by comparison.
Chemistry will be an important factor to win it all.
Suns of course
1. Nuggets
-best chemistry, currently in first, if they stay healthy, they will finish 1st in the west.
2. Mavericks
-Luka ALWAYS plays off ball for the Slovenian national team, and kills it with Goran Dragic running point. If Christian Wood can get that fast chemistry in the PNR with Kyrie like he did with Luka quick, and if McGee can protect the rim for 18min a game, and Kleber comes back at least 90%, Mavericks will finish 2nd in the west with the best offensive efficiency in the league, and crappy perimeter defense.
3. Phoenix
-Chris Small is terrible now, but is smart enough to pick his spots, and now doesn’t have to force anything out of that old tired small body when he doesn’t have it, due to having two of the best scorers in the league on the same squad. How healthy/optimized Durant can stay this season will be iffy, but enough to get them to finish 3rd in the west.
4. Memphis
-Ja Morant’s “lead blocker”(who bulldozed opposing rim protectors out of the play on tons of morant drives) is out with a sprained PCL/knee. We know Adams is tough and will want to play they pain early and come back early, but they will slide in the standings with Ja mysteriously nut getting quite as many east paint buckets now without his reliable plow horse doing all the dirty work to make room for his lighting fast 172lbs, with a tiny female ribcage, to fly thru unpunished. Where is Anthony Mason when you need him ?
5. Not the Sacramento Kings, who are a young squad who relies too much on transition buckets, which become harder to come by, as the season gets closer to playoff mode, when things tighten up turnover wise (creating LESS transition opportunities), and slow down, and become more about being able to execute against dialed-in, no possessions off, physical half court defense.
6. Clippers - very talented Roster, but it’s clear neither Kawhi nor Paul George are as great as they were just a few years ago. Love Norman Powell’s bow-legged lateral defensive quickness and offensive versatility, and Reggie Jackson’s bunnies Johnson impersonations every 6 games or so… but Kawhi perpetually looks like a guy scared to play hard and get injured again, with the face of an autistic 5th grader who can’t find his mother at the park.
7. Who cares?
8. Not the Lakers.
I believe denver still comes out on top.
Nice post Barberschool.
I am going.
1 - Suns
2 - Mavericks
3 - Nuggets
4 - Warriors
5 - Clippers
6 - Lakers
Find it harsh for Kings & Memphis.

So people leaning Suns & Nuggets.
What about Clippers, Mavs, Warriors and new Look Lakers?
I would not sleep on healthy Warriors.
I did the poll a day early. Clippers/Mavs/Lakers/Suns all going in.
The champs Warriors, and Nuggets-Memphis top seeds still there too.
look at all the mega bronies voting for Phoenix.
LMFAO
if it was Lebron going to Phoenix instead of KD, none of these bronies would pick Phoenix in this poll.
The
@FDSportsbook
Western Conference Odds
1. Phoenix
2. Denver
3. Clippers
4. Warriors
5. Grizzlies
6. Mavericks
7. Pelicans
8. Lakers
9. Kings
10. Wolves
Let's be real...I like the Nuggets and love Jokic but they are not a contender. I know how potent their offense is. They simply don't have the bench depth and they have little to no margin for error.

They are first seed, until others prove their chemistry work.

:oldlol:
per the poll
1 - Suns
2 - Nuggets
3 - Clippers
4 - Mavs
5 - Warriors
with this trade deadline , I have never seen such an impactful day to several franchises.
Clippers really wheeled and dealed , and literally gave up nothing.
I still see Denver coming thru , but PHX has impacted this years playoff run as well.
Those three teams could go to the finals.
For some reason I count out the Wars , and the Lakers. ... I guess you could say I expect them to spudder out .

I'm pretty confident about the Warriors still
I'm going with a PHX-MIL finals

Think injuries big issue. Especially Curry.
Nuggets are signing Reggie Jackson
Nuggets are signing Reggie Jackson
Reggie Jackson is underrated. Great pickup for the Nuggs.

last night Clay looked as usual when pressure is on , (to carry) tight.
Lowly Lakers beat them should say more about the Warriors (it is over)
Wiggens non factor , and Poole surprisingly was trying to shoot 3 pointers w/no interest slashing.
Warriors will be out the first round.
Lakers AD never even looked like his super star billing against a weak LA frontline .... he is done as well.

Lakers have a pretty good chance. Incredibly stacked team. If they do though, it will be in spite of LeNetNegative, not because of him.
suns
Sacramento Kings are 2nd in West now
What about Mavs?
not in the discuss.. they are to thin ... and I actually think Suns are to thin as well.
KD ,CP3 and Booker will play heavy minutes throughout the playoffs.... not good when you get to the chip series.

Since Lebron is out, why don't you bet on it? They're +5000 right now.
