it's no comparison because Jordan averaged 40 against the #1 defense and goat team, while Ant averaged 27.7 against the no defense Nuggets (garbage team by comparison).

Ant has no pressure, but he should if anyone is comparing him to MJ.. Ant currently has more help than MJ ever had... 18-year MJ won the national title, while Ant was 5-13 in the SEC - MJ would similarly have won an NBA title at 22 years old if he had one of the best casts in the league like Ant has... instead he had literally the worst.

Ant got a 72--10 squad? What about one guy good enough to make both all nba and all defensive 1st team in the same season? I guess he has a guy similar to Rodmans impact with Gobert, where's his former 1st option that's the 5th best guy on his team? Or his European superstar that's his 6th man?

Gobert=Rodman is a reasonable take, but Kat being equal or greater to Pippen is insane. And I really like KAT.

I assumed that the Nuggets were champions (last year's caliber), so when the Wolves don't win the title this year (less than champions/Nuggets), that will essentially fulfill what I said, aka "down-hill" brand is less than championship caliber - this will be proven true when he gets beaten by Tatum... The best teams are always led by low hold-time guys like Tatum this year, Jokic last year, or Curry in 2022.

Zydrunas made the all-star game in 2003 before Lebron entered the league and then again in 05'..

And the Cavs were a 5th year team in 2008 that only won 45 games... But then Mo's all-star spacing added 19 more wins by providing the spacing that Lebron's stiff-arm game needs..

Jamison was a 2x all-star that was averaging 22/9 before joining Lebron and cratering to 15/8.. Jamison famously outplayed and dominated Lebron in the 2007 1st Round (32/10 on 55%)... He was a rare 20k scorer and a better scorer than Pippen, so it was pretty nice for the 2010 Cavs - a 7th year organic juggernaut - to have a better scorer than Pippen as their THIRD option (while also having better team defensive rankings than the 1st three-peat Bulls).

And Larry Hughes wasn't an all-star but he was a 1st team defender in 2005 and steals champ, while averaging 22/6/5 and better production rate then 1990 Pippen across the board (PER, BPM, VORP, WS/48).. Imagine needing a 2x all-star center, HOF coach, and an acquisition that was playing better than 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball just to make the playoffs like 06' Lebron.

I mean if we're being real... Ant is lucky to be in the WCFs right now. Denver literally had the biggest choke in NBA history on Sunday. And it wasn't even him that brought them back. It literally looked like the Nuggets stopped playing once they went up 20. They got comfortable.
