Her being stupid is understandable but Doris Burke and PJ Carlesimo voting for Tatum? People are such idiotic clowns. On NO planet did Tatum deserve a SINGLE vote. Jrue and White are better basketball players than him too.

Why does a random Italian media journalist have a vote?? :lol
Sports Journalism is at its worst form today.
And it’s eons better than other types of journalism.
None of these MF’s should have votes.
The MF’s with the most finals MVP’s ever should all vote.
And before one of you immoral little sh!thead MF’s say conflict of interest …. you’re revealing your own hand, that that’s what YOUR corrupt crooked self would do.

I feel like it's a crime Jrue Holiday didn't get one vote. He totally locked kyrie up in 1v1 coverage and shot on 53/42/100 sniper splits which was by far the best on Boston.
He was the true FMVP eye test wise to me easily but the pundits had to give it to either Tatum or Brown.
Eye test wise?
Brown guarded Luka straight up and did as good a job as anyone has ever done in the playoffs. Whatever credit you want to give Jrue for his defense on Kyrie you must give the same credit to Brown.
Brown was the one dunking on the Mavericks in traffic, looking very explosive, hitting momentum swinging shots or straight up daggers in the first three games.
**** your eye test troll
I didn’t watch game 4 because I thought it was gonna be a blowout sweep and even if dallas won it still wasn’t a series
That being said it felt like it’s been Brown’s to lose pretty much the whole way. Jrue had hell of a series though, it’s close to a toss up. I believe I wouldn’t have objected if Jrue got it.

Yup.
My biggest beef was Holiday didn't even get 1 vote.
And I'm a Kyrie fan so that wasn't easy to watch. Gotta shoŵ respect where it's earned though.
Imo Brown was the most deserving choice, he was far from great offensively but was much better than Tatum before the epic stat padding last night, and he played good defense on Luka too, who still put up big numbers, but really had to work work for them, and did so on much worse efficiency.
After Brown, Jrue would've been my next choice, he just didn't quite put up enough production. He jumps his ppg from 14 to 17-18, he honestly could've won it.

I was thinking similar at first but if you look at the scoring gap between brown and jrue, also factor in efficiency (jrue was a lot more efficient)….their raw production is a lot closer. Also a lot of the games were blowouts where Jrue didn’t really need to score much after a few quarters. And we know Jrue isn’t a guy who’s gonna pad it. He has no problem scoring 9 points in a W.
I think what probably swung voters was Brown had quite a few momentum turning plays throughout the series.
That being said Jrue had a better case than Tatum, votes should have got split between Jrue and Brown.
Holiday and Luka not getting votes but Tatum getting four when he was terrible in this series it is what we've come to expect. It wouldn't shock me if the media didn't conspire to toss some votes to Tatum for "content". I feel bad for Holliday because he shut down Kyrie while Brown just contained an injured Luka.
Carlisino and Andrews being two of the Tatum voters and both working for ESPN and both being questionably moral figures

PJ, the two ladies, and the boston homer voted Tatum
That is pretty telling :lol :lol
The Mavs defensive gameplan was around Tatum, which got Brown and others open - Tatum was finally figuring it out and if the series went 6 or 7 - he would easily win FMVP

Not sure they're better players than Tatum, but they definitely both deserved FMVP votes over Tatum.

Tatum couldn't finish at the rim the entire series.
Also got burned over and over by Luka.
Where as Brown finished strong at the rim and contained Luka.
He also had the best rep on Kyrie of anyone.
You talk about lock down defense, this is what it looks like.
