No, he's way too small for that to work. You need a guy who's at least like 6'6-6'7 for this to be feasible, preferably taller.
I remember this idea being brought up in 2006 here.
The consensus back then was a team full of Garnetts was the ideal player.
Nowadays.... You would have to say Lebron quite easily.
Kerr loves small ball so he would go with it. Oftentimes, the tallest player on the court for the Warriors is 6'7" Draymond Green.
But you see the Warriors sometimes get trounced with small ball; giving up too many 2nd chance baskets (this happened in a recent game, i commented on it here, but forgot the details), offensive rebounds, etc.
And that's with a guy 6'7" on the court. When you go all 6'3" without the same brawn as a guy like Draymond, it can't work. If you watch the Warriors, they depend on a few tough dudes to constantly screen for their shooters. That's why they're such a good team, and get high quality uncontested shots off. Draymond is a huge part of it; but so is Looney and Trace-Jackson Davis.
10 Currry's couldn't create the separation that a few big guys could.
They also couldn't defend Giannis, Embiid, Jokic; while many struggle anyhow- they would score 50+ a game.
They would make the playoffs and give us the first 200 point game but over the course of a playoff series someone would bust out a big guard+athletic forward line up that hustles hard with the correct scheme to challenge the threes competently while getting baskets in the paint every time. The And 1s would pile up giving that team a healthy number of three-point plays and they could shoot 80% or some crazy number in the paint and offensive rebound the few missed shots. Even with the Curries hitting half of their threes the math would work against them.
People are jumping to say no....but who's going to find five people to guard five Currys at a time? They'd be defensively weak of course, but while someone like Anthony Davis is scoring 2 points every possession, they'd be scoring an average of at least 2.5 points per possession. They be a strong contender at a minimum.

For Currys to score 2.5 ppp his ts would have to be like 1.25.....
It's not happening. Teams have an average of 100 possessions a game and so they aren't scoring 250 points per game. Nice try though.
That team would perform very well in the rs. But it's hard to see them thrive in crucial playoff moments.

This is a ridiculous hypothetical which you're trying to fit into a standard pattern. Out of the five Currys, one or more of them is always going to have the hot hand. Furthermore, Curry runs more than just about anyone during a game. Five of them would completely wear down every other team trying to guard. So yes, scoring 250 points per game is ridiculous, but so is having 10 Currys on a team lol.

I was thinking of this as well. What if their threes don't hit so much at all? In that case, the small guards have to shoot inside or near the basket but it's going to be a bit of a challenge when there are taller opposing players surrounding them.

Because taller players have so much success guarding Curry....
:biggums:
They would be turning any decent big into Prime Shaq because of the obvious lack of defense and size..

There are quick, athletic wings that can challenge him with length. No one is going to shit him down but with the terrible post defense his side would be playing that level of defensive success wouldn't be required. Just keep his side under 160.

And still get outscored.
Also, Axey doesn't know what the world "literally" means. Decent bigs would, in fact, NOT literally feast on Steph Curry. I guess there's a reason why he got so many votes for dumbest poster in ISH history. :confusedshrug:

True. Unfortunately, the gay retard above me can't comprehend because he's still fixated on me like an obsessed lunatic btw.

^LITERALLY having a bitch fit over a thread about Steph Curry. You can't make this stuff up.

So i guess prime shaq is only a decent big and that stephen curry will be able to stop him from dominating in the low post, at least according to the 2023 dumbest poster in ish. Got it.

3 points are worth more than 2. And Shaq can't shoot free throws. I guess you never heard of hack-a-Shaq. :lol
I know this is difficult for someone of your diminutive intellect to grasp.

^^This braindead mongoloid really thinks that curry can shoot his threes phenomenally most of time when in the postseason, defenses are generally much tighter. Fyfi there's a reason why his fg% would drop and his go-ahead shots suck come playoff time, along with why it took him six trips to the finals just to win his very first finals mvp award. A playoff team full of him won't mitigate those unless he's more naturally athletic. :oldlol:

I'm always astounded by his ability to think. Maybe he's never actually watched the playoffs and doesn't realize that those "postseason defenses" double team Curry all the time. So of course he has no clue that every time that happens it leaves a Curry open. :lol
"Bu-bu-bu-bu-but a team full of Currys couldn't possibly win....because Curry bad, and my Lebron good!"
Yeah, a team full of ten clones of the best player of his generation would sure suck.
What an idiot.
:lebronamazed:
Lmao. The double-teams are already obvious the moment i mentioned about the postseason. But what about when those threes don't hit that much? Good luck letting the other gerbils grab the boards off those misses against taller, athletic guys. As usual, jackass casual turns this shit into a purely-scoring affair by not putting some emphasis on defense, by not thinking that relying solely on threes and missing a lot of them can have grave consequences for the team. What a clueless pos. Oh and btw, nice try bringing up lebron itt. You just can't help but prove that derangement syndrome is indeed really true and powerful, after all.
Its interesting because the retort is theyd give up a 2 every time, but theyre making 3s at a rate good enough to beat that out, probably.
I mean 5 Currys prob get an open look almost every trip.
So theyd prob win the chip.
As long as those Steph Curries aren't playing for charity.

This addlepated idiot does not get it.
He's probably in a bitch fit due to insecurity about Curry having double the number of scoring titles as the love of his life does. Multiple scoring titles and an FMVP.....and he thinks putting 10 of them on a team wouldn't be a title contender. You can't make this up.
True. Unfortunately, the gay retard above me can't comprehend because he's still fixated on me like an obsessed lunatic btw.
You did misuse the word. Stephen Curry is probably not going to eat people. I can't say for sure though. Don't trust that babyface.

"Axe literally feasts on dozens of Hot Pockets."

Yep, nobody can refute his "valid points", such as the point about how Steph Curry would be literally cannibalized.

Here's one you're really going to like. I promise. ;)
A team of Currys would beat a team of Lebrons.
Team Lebron would have double the turnovers. Team Lebron would play traffic cone defense. Team Lebron would be far more prone to choke. Team Curry wins 8 times out of 10.
