it's hilarious watching trump being dumbfounded by why his bullying tactics are not working on real world leaders. Sheinbaum also put donnie in his place, but zelensky did it to his face. trump literally is a bully that is not used to being told 'no'. he had to bring his vp so it was a 2on1 but somehow still managed to embarrass the entire country (USA). trump is for sure a russian agent.
Even Trump supporters are embarrassed of this clown.
it's also a shame donnie being assertive with a country at war and in a vulnerable position, but gets walked around like a lapdog in his own white house by the you know whats...

are we winning yet? :ohwell:
Zelensky sitting there arms crossed :oldlol:
Guy isnt a politician.
"he killed our people" he says about Putin.
Very specific.
Spoken like a true president.
This is the most real open talk among politicians Ive ever seen.
Goat.

source?
The most disgusting and appalling behaviour ever seen in the Oval Office. Two c*nts of the highest order ganging up on Zelenskyy in what was an obvious setup. They had the first statement out before Zelenskyy had even left. No surprise that TASS attended but AP and Reuters were banned.
America has fallen down so far down the rabbit's hole that it's gone. What an absolute embarrassment.

It's more of Russia First now. :ohwell:
And in true bully fashion, Trump could not take on Zelensky one on one, he had to bring his butt boy Vance along so it would be two on one.
Anyone notice when Trump met Zelenksy at the door he immediately cracked a joke commenting on how underdressed Zelenksy looked? Height wise Trump towers over him too. It reminded me back of my younger days when I first was working in business... I got similar comments from people who were tenured in the game. It can make you feel really small and underprepared. Later, even a reporter asked him the same question and Trump silently let Zelensky give a sheepish nothing answer. It among countless other interactions were incredibly uncomfortable to watch and basically the entire meeting from start to finish was Trump basically asserting to Zelenksy that you are small and feed out of my hand on command and - I'm disappointed in you. He was basically treated like someone who was going to get fired if it weren't for some sort of other type of connection.
My big take away from this was the conversation was about 100 times more hostile than I expected it to be. But I do see where Trump is coming from, at one point Zelensky tried to call out Vance for political moral grandstanding and that's when the incredible anger and hostile talking-to happened. I say talking-to because Trump and Vance basically dominated Zelensky at that point in front of everyone, not just the media but the entire world. There's a valid point that yeah, you shouldn't be calling out a neutral arbiter of good faith and peace and challenging them when you've got both everything to gain and everything to lose. But damn. The exchange was a brutal sit down, shut up, and cooperate command or we'll pull your support and watch you get obliterated type of tone from that point forward. No minced words.
Having been in tense conversations about much smaller scale, but fairly important things in the past, I can say if I were Zelensky I'd be absolutely furious at how I was treated straight from the get-go. But there is some truth in all of this that if the hand that feeds you wants the fighting to stop you really do have to comply. The rug can be yanked out from under you so now is not the time to puff out your chest and "stand up to" or challenge statements by Trump or Vance like he attempted to do which pissed them off.
I had a lot of confidence a peace agreement would be made. At this point it could go either direction I've no idea. If Zelensky puts his ego and pride above all else, there won't be a deal. If he puts his and his countries survival above all else, he'll come back with a different attitude to negotiate again. Trump did tweet or whatever that the door is open for when Zelensky actually decides he wants peace to come back and talk again.

brutal. tell em donny. zelensky got a reality check for real today. he's holding an empty hand and he's ruining his country and getting thousands of people killed for nothing.
wish trump would put little bibi in his place like this.

Trump fixing the war in 24 hours ....
:roll::roll::roll:
"with us, you have some cards. without us, you don't have any cards".
WHEW! that's what i'm talkin bout!
Z is in a bad spot - he should have negotiated with Russia at the beginning of war and not listened to Biden/Boris Johnson. Now 3 years later - what does he have - a destroyed country and hundreds of thousands dead - I guess there's whatever was skimmed off the top from (unaccountable) aid.
I don't get the US will "feel" it comment - we could just withdraw aid and say bye bye - we're not gonna feel anything - Ukraine will be the ones without weapons/aid.
Peepol here so stupid especially Mexicans who have no clue but construction

Dude, I'm not even an American.
Also, Vance talking about diplomacy, then acting immediately on the contrary as soon as Zelensky kept him in check. Lol pure comedy.
Dude, I'm not even an American.
Are you low iq? I never say you American. But I say what you are.. a dumbass.
This is horrible for Zelensky. Europe will have to come to his rescue or else Ukraine risks losing all those people and having a war ravaged country for nothing. If Europe doesn't help him he's probably going to lose more land than he would have if he had negotiated with Putin and avoided war completely. In which case he will go down as one of the worst leaders ever.
Even if he didn't agree with Trump, he should have kept his mouth shut for the good of his people but apparently his ego moves him more than his compassion for Ukraine's women and children

That guy never cared for his citizens. He does photo ops to prop his country up while he is hiding in some bunker or in America begging for money.

He has no right for demands.. if you come to a country who try to help you and already give you most of all countries put together, first thing you say is thank you for everything you have already done for me to be alive and here today. Not like this
The deal was good for everyone. American get something for investment he get money because mineral money shared and protection
But he no want to admit he lost land and make peace deal. This is fallacy that get him killed and lose war
Trump really humiliated Zelensky from start to finish. The Kremlin is laughing at this.
So nice to bully when you have the upper hand. Let's see Vance do that to Putin.
Let's say you're right. Vance is still just the VP. Even if you hate Trump, you have to admit Zelensky was incredibly stupid to draw the ire of Trump by promising him that our country will be invaded soon. Trump was kinda just watching them both go at it up until then.

sure. much in the same way that inviting over someone to dinner and ambushing them with low brow questions and attacking them verbally.
the rest of the world will see this and will be driven away from meeting trump in the white house. this is actually terrible for the US. it's tarnishing the reputation of the white house's history for making deals with foreign leaders and businesses.

This Beaner now care about reputation. What about your foot? You being not accepted to nursing school? Being uber driver? Your 300lb obesity? What kind of reputation that?
i'm not quite sure what a lot of you guys are arguing for at this point. ukraine has no chance of winning this war short of us putting troops on the ground. in that scenario, if we were to begin to pushing putin back and ultimately taking back ukraine, putin would use the threat of nuclear attacks against ukraine because moscow sees this conflict as being existential to their country. so this is a lose/lose situation for ukraine and it may as well end now while, as trump said, zelensky still has somewhat of a country left. we never should have gotten ukraine into this mess. this is OUR fault (as well as europe's).
so if you're arguing for more war, you're just arguing for more death and destruction with zero return on investment. it's over.

It's pretty simple. Most of US' wealth comes from its involvement in WW2 and build their economy through building a huge economic partner in Europe.
At the moment China is starting to overtake this block and it doesn't give a big enough shit about the US. At the same time the US is alienating Europe und leaving Ukraine to Putin opens a gate to Europe for him. He'll try how far he can go. Step by step.

like i said in the other thread, there's no evidence to suggest that putin has ambitions beyond ukraine (or even taking the entirety of ukraine). putin has neither the military nor the economy to undertake a task of that a scale. do you realize how many millions of troops he would need to not only conquer but occupy these eastern european countries? he would need well over a million alone just for ukraine. i'm sorry but this is a ridiculous argument. show me the evidence and make a case for it because i'm open to listening. i've made my case for nato expansion a number of times and provided a timeline of events to back it up.
what we should be doing is normalizing relations with russia and in the process driving a wedge between them and china. china is our real peer competitor - it's not russia.
