Julius Randle overrated? All people do is bash him mostly. Butler has been underrated most of his career so I don't think he can be overrated to be fair. Draymond Green doesn't get praised nonstop either. He gets opportunities and takes advantage of them but I don't see fans adoring Draymond.
Top 3 are what we all expected

Some players are just going to vote because they dislike someone versus it being true or correct.
I expected Draymond to be higher.
Can't quit me!
Bradley Beal, Ja Morant, Rudy Gobert, Kyle Kuzma...
Who the **** thinks Jrue Holiday is overrated? Dude never won a defensive player of the year award despite being arguably the best perimeter defender at one point and is credited as being the third to fifth best player on his current team depending on who you ask.
How is that overrated?
surprised to see anyone above rudy. Second biggest surprise is 2.2% for no one in the league is overrated lol
who conducted these polls? I want to see the other questions/answers lol
nothing like bringing some drama to a overly PC league
That's embarrassing when you're getting more votes than the human pinata in Rudy for this category.
Some of these selections make no sense to me, who the hell is overrating Kyle Kuzma & Dillon Brooks :lol Also surprised to see Jrue getting votes.

Dray will be a HOF'er but know one would know who he was if he didn't play in Curry's dynasty system.. His 11/7/5 isn't anything special when it's contributing to a 20-win Wizards team or something, but it's HOF if it can land next to a generational offensive talent... Without Curry, Dray would be like Harvey Grant.

It bothers the hell out of me that triple-single could get into the HoF. I don't think he deserves it.

You'd think the guy wasn't a four time champion...frankly he's just a good teammate to take the Celtics hate because their is no reason why Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingus aren't on this list.
Also Herro and Butler on but not Bam...
Beal taking all the blame for Durant and yet Giannis and Lebron both got votes.
Playoff Pete being behind Joel Embiid...jesus mary and joseph

I think we all know it was Lebron that voted for Dillon Brooks
I wonder how much of this is people just don't like some of these guys - we saw guys like Lillard get into arguments with Halliburton. Butler, Beal, and Draymond aren't exactly the most likable guys.
Maybe people think Klay Thompson is overrated but he's such a nice guy, he'll never make the list.
Gobert #2 is just Donovan Mitchell voting dozens of times :)

I think you’re going by fans ratings on players and thinking the actual players judge their list based on that. I think it has more to do with not liking their game/feeling they are that good. While some comes from a place of dislike. Maybe a mix of both. With fans at least you have some context to why they rank/rate players like they do. With players they don’t speak on other guys as much as we do (hence this msgbosrd).

This isnt about awards, but the rep a player has accumulated.
Holiday by many is seen as a very underrated, extremely good / all star level kind of guard, that any championship team would love to have.
Its possible some players disagree with that notion.
But yes its true its weird for a player that isnt revered or talked much about.

Probably some blacks just struggling with the concept of the word tbh.
being formerly hyped doesnt mean one is now overrated when everyone is aware youre trash.
Very surprised to not see Toody at 1 tbf.
Haliburton has such a non chalant, non physical style.. dude just kind of walks up, shoots some 3s, makes some kick out passes...
I can see why some players are annoyed at how good he is/seems.
For being so overrated he's been dog walking the Bucks.
I expect that to end in G3 on the road and smash the moneyline but he balled in G2 with Dame back. Dame acts tough but doesn't play defense. And it mayhave been an anomaly but Haliburton was playing defense. I watched him individually force multiple turnovers and shots in the last game.

I think it's mostly because players don't like Haliburton because he only talks shit when he's front running. You might as well change the title of the poll to "Who do you dislike the most?"
Remember when the players voted that Harden should have been the MVP in 2015 over Curry?
These polls shouldn’t even exist.
That’s the NBA’s problem. Trying to bank on these stupid little narratives instead of real basketball. It’s a gossip show league.

No I don't. Do you have a link? I couldn't find it.

Are you serious?
Its the first thing that pops up when you google player vote 2015 curry harden, several links

Yes I was, I was Googling, "2015 Players MVP Vote" which now I see was several links down.
Thanks.

Bro how tf is Google supposed to know youre talking about the NBA. That could be absolutely anything. :oldlol:
It knows by your search habits. I search NBA more than anything. When I type that in Google all that comes back is NBA stuff and also that players voting lower down.
It knows by your search habits. I search NBA more than anything. When I type that in Google all that comes back is NBA stuff and also that players voting lower down.
Yea but its not automatically showing NBA when the search is too unspecific, you should have at least tried it with NBA :lol
Stupid vote. They should vote on who's most likely to come out as gay next.

Honestly, I should've just looked further down, the players voting article on ESPN was the 5th link with my vague search input. I just didn't skim far enough.
Stupid vote. They should vote on who's most likely to come out as gay next.
:oldlol:
true though
Players understand that TJ McConnell is a much bigger headache to deal with. On a competent team his role and Haliburtons are swapped.
The most overrated players in the current NBA are Trae Young, Lavine, and Lebron.

Oooooooooooooo, stinky boy is upset again.
Not only does Axe
Smell like a stinky rectum
But he's also very high
On the autism spectrum
So true!
What makes Trae overrated? He wouldn’t even have made the all star team if it wasn’t for an injury and, correct me if I’m wrong, received no all nba votes despite putting up 24 ppg, leading the league in assists and played 76 games. Yeah, I know he’s inefficient and is bad on defense, but guards seem to get a pass on defense these days if they’re dynamic on offense and the inefficiency just means we can’t put him on a all NBA level… which we don’t.

Most people feel that way probably because he's a sieve on defense and highly inefficient because he tends to be a chucker.

Oh, I agree. I have to admit I don’t watch a ton of Trae Young, but I’ve seen him put up stinkers and I’ve seen him play clutch basketball. Over-dribbling, chucking(especially when he does it when his team is on a run while he’s cold) and his lack of defense(which can be a criticism for virtually any sub 6’3 star) are completely fair criticisms. My contention is: is that enough to make him ‘overrated’ in the context of a borderline all-star?
Stupid vote. They should vote on who's most likely to come out as gay next.
It's gotta be that Philly rookie

Probably not, I think most if not many of the votes are just personal hate for a player that okay against.
