obviously OKC is the favorite to win by a landslide, but we're all hoping the pacers can make it competitive.

Pacers in 7. They will go into OKC and get one of the first two games at least.

I know they've been doing this for a while, but having the games 3 days apart for 6 of the 7 games is too long of a break in the action. That should only be reserved for if a game is going to fall on a Saturday, there's no reason there can't be 2 days between games.

I'm guessing they think more rest between games increases chances of big performances? Or is it a news cycle hype thing?

it really is too long, and jut plain dumb. it might not kill the momentum entirely but it's definitely a buzzkill.
Noticed this trend the past few years or so.
Always starts on a Thursday. Then game 2 in Sunday.
If it goes 7, we're talking about 3 weeks.

Indiana is a bball town and the Pacers are a decent franchise. They're about competing not about tanking.

I still hope it's a competitive series. For sure haliburton wouldn't ruin their momentum now just because he didn't get the east mvp, would he?

If I had to guess OKC in 5. They might go up 3-0 and then let off break in G4 because thats the only game with short rest in this series and its on the road for thunder. Go home and close in 5, but obviously I hope Indiana pulls miracle off and wins. Do it for Reggie.

Yea watching the Knicks run a track meet would've been pitiful. Theyre so slow plus OKC has the perfect assortment of perimeter defenders to cut head off the snake aka lock up Brunson. The Pacers can at least run the track meet and have more of a chance to give us a good viewing experience hopefully.

On the good side after I called out Masked Embiid for his awful take on the Pacers/Knicks series he said there's no way the Pacers win against the Thunder and if they do win he'll leave ISH. :oldlol:
Pacers don't turn it over, they shoot well from 3, they are deep, and have one of the best coaches in the league.
Wolves played into OKCs strengths by being a dumb, high turnover team.
The Pacers are a smart team and were red hot for the last part of the season as well, they've been an elite team for several months now.
Based on what we've seen from both teams - this series should be a toss up.
I'll take OKC in 7.

Because it’s pointless to wait 5 days. Both teams have momentum. The extended time off doesn’t help that. Why wouldn’t anyone not want to play sooner than later? There’s literally no valid reason for Game 1 to be Thursday then game 2 IN OKC to be Sunday. Why are you ok with this schedule?
