Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
What is more realistic? That he has or has not?
The only reason this guy hasn't shaved in over decade is to hide his ridiculous jawline and chin than can be compared to Barry Bonds from youth to old age.
The man uses PEDs ..... let's start to face reality.

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Too many coincidences. Where there's smoke there's fire.
I can accept 1 coincidence. I can't accept 10.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
I dont give a shit, it will never be proven and even if it ever was, I still wouldn't give a shit.
But anyone who believes that any athletes at the top level haven't used something at some point, or more than likely, are regularly using, is a total fool.
But I repeat, who cares? I want athletes at their best, more often and for longer so PEDs are essential for that. Plus they'll do it anyway whatever we or anyone else says or thinks. If you don't take it, you won't make it.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
He was freakishly strong as a freshmen in highschool. so you're telling me he was juicing since middle school too? make it make sense.
You are proving just how great you think he is truly deep down in ur heart. The layer your conscious mind cant reach. You think he's so good it has to be cheating. No way some can be this good for this long without cheating
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
More juice than Tropicana. Would make Barry Bonds blush. :lol
I don't have a problem with athletes making their bodies as strong as possible, just stop calling offensive fouls as defensive fouls.

Lebron was a Nepo baby in the American AAU farm basketball system. He was basically handed 100 million dollars by 16 years old. If you don't think his handlers and investors were pumping him up to be as big a Frankenstein as he could be youre beyond naive. Way too money on the line. Billionaire brand since a young teenager.

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
He did have that tumor in his jaw that's associated with HGH. Then, there's the premature hairloss. Also, Randy Mims (one of LeBron's top guys; LRMR Marketing) picking up an order for "LJ" @ the Biogenesis clinic.
EDIT: It wasn't Randy, it was a "Mr. Paul." Hmmmmm, I wonder who that could be?
Now while Bosch’s named hasn’t been linked with any athletes recently, according to a story from IBN Sports Wrap, some new names may be coming soon. In an interview conducted by one of IBN’s writers, who goes by “Incarcerated Bob” spoke with a women named Jessica who was a former employee of Bosch from April of 2010 to February of 2012. Jessica worked as an assistant for Bosch and kept track of “pretty much” every financial transfer that took place at Bosch’s clinic.
While keeping track of these financial transfers, Jessica, told Incarcerated Bob some of the initials that stood out to her. One of those initials, “LJ” she claimed to believe was Miami Heat forward and NBA Superstar, LeBron James.
Jessica said that a man who went by the name of Mr. Paul came in every month, once a month to pick up products for the initials “LJ.” As for what those products were, Jessica doesn’t know. However, she did say that Mr. Paul, the person who picked up the products for “LJ” was a friend of James’s.
Coincidentally enough, James’s agent and best friend’s name is Rich Paul. Now if it’s the same Mr. Paul or not, that wasn’t confirmed. However, Jessica said some of her coworkers were 100% sure that Lebron James was a client of the instute and was the “LJ.”
DOUBLE EDIT: Actually, Randy Mims was getting PEDs in his own name. Smart thinking; always put it on someone else's name.
Mims, 47, is well-known as a key member of James' inner circle and is described in the investigative documents as the "manager of LeBron James (Miami Heat basketball player)." Mims has held several business roles for the superstar, as well as positions with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers. A 2019 ESPN+ documentary series, "More Than an Athlete," portrayed Mims as a thoughtful, egoless worker who ensured everything runs on time.
Mims' purchases of testosterone -- a Schedule III controlled substance -- and metabolism-boosting injections and a blood draw by an unlicensed phlebotomist provided by Acevedo are described in federal documents as being done for his personal use. Acevedo told authorities Mims paid him $300 a purchase and remained a client for about two months before he stopped making buys after complaining about how the drugs made him feel.
Those are called accusations. Claims and accusations don't constitute as evidence.
Those women didn't accuse Trump of anything until he decided to run for president. When multiple women all decide to come out and air their grievances at the exact same time after decades of staying quiet, we call that an improbable chain of coincidences.
I'm not surprised you're a LeBron fan. It's very evident in your intelligence and in your character.

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Frankly I don't think it's a very relevant debate. I mean, did steroids cause his 40+ post-season choke jobs? Did steroids make him be the most anti-clutch superstar ever and earn the nickname "LeShrivel"? Do steroids make him always disappear in 4th quarters?
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Would it shock me if somewhere down the road it comes out he did PEDs at some point in his career? No.
Is there any proof, evidence supporting accusations? No.
Innocent until proven guilty.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
It wouldn't surprise me in the least and at the same time it wouldn't make me view him any differently. I'm of the belief that most elite athletes we've ever seen took something. Maybe it wasn't illegal in the 70s, or even the 90s but it is now. How can you even begiin to justify judgment and morality in this scenario. That said there's as much evidence for Lebron to be on something as any Uber athlete we've ever seen. And as stated by other posters, who else have we ever seen show the level of athletic ability high school Lebron had? Its a major reason he had the hype and expectations he did coming in. I guess his career has lasted long enough for old farts to forget the beginning of the story.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Yes, he's doping. Yes, he's a freak athlete. Yes, he is extremely disciplined in his workouts and diet.
How much each of these factors contribute to him still playing at a high level in his 40s is very difficult to determine but I assure you if it were just as easy as taking steroids and remaining elite post 40 we'd see a lot more guys with his longevity. But the reality is we don't. And we've never seen it before.
And it would be beyond indescribably naive to believe he's the first and only doper in the history of the league. I don't think any of his detractors actually believe that. They just like to focus on the doping because it makes them feel in control of understanding why he's as good as he is into his 40s.
How many of you that think he is on steroids believe he is the only doper in the history of the league? And once you admit that he's not the only one, where are the rest of them being elite at 40? Give it a rest.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
I don't know and don't really care until actual legit evidence is shown. Otherwise it's just all assumption and rumors.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Lance Armstrong showed us that PEDs were affecting things from the late 80s, and sooner.
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
I do wonder if the average Joe questions athletes integrity (cheating) becuase they want them on the same level as them? Or to say you’re not this superior athlete as they say/you think. All the while the average joe isn’t even great at much. In fact a few cheat in life be it with their significant other, their health, leg day, video games etc.
Or maybe it’s just really mostly stand up individuals who question it. Maybe I’m doing too much. I should chill….

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Even if he did, it wouldn't be enough to get him to where he is today. It would be more for injury recovery.
What he's done is remarkable.

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
"There's no evidence guys..."
Meanwhile:
- His friend/business manager and his former trainer were caught purchasing PED's claiming it was for personal use
- That weird time he looked like a stick figure to start the season, took a 2 week break, then magically looked like his old self
- The fact that he is the only player in history to hold onto his explosiveness at age 40.
- That weird time he went down with cramps in the finals.
With the cramps I could take it or leave it but it was still weird. If you wanna exclude that one fine, it still leaves the other three.
And for those saying it doesn't mean anything if he was on something, sorry but this is a guy who dominated largely because of his physical advantages. He was extremely talented sure but what made him uniquely special was his combination of size, strength and speed.
It would be a real shame to have to discount Bron's greatness. As much as I hate him, I have to admit he was a joy to watch as a fan of the game. He was the ONLY player I saw who I thought had the potential to be better than Jordan. But if it comes out that he was on something, I'm sorry it does bring his greatness into question in my opinion.

What? Most athletes take PEDs to recover faster and keep them on the playing field so they can perform every time. LeBron is the all time leading scorer because he played the most games ever. I wonder how he was able to sustain playing that many games for that long. Remarkable.

I'm thinking you're right, ive always felt it was an inferiority complex and obviously here its just a proxy for some other battle/hate/standom. I dont know if its ok to let guys take stuff but I do know the most i ever enjoyed baseball was when Barry Bonds was annihilating everything that moved. I was entertained so i really cant hate on it. And im of the train of thought that if we beleive this guy took it why is everyone else who has elite athletic ability or body builder muscles excluded from suspicion? Especially in older eras where they tested for less the further back in time we go......

Stockton's played like 60 less games than James but is over 20,000pts behind him. How come Stockton isn't right there with Malone and Kareem in points if all it takes is playing a lot of games?

A guy like Karl Malone never gets questioned. Outside of his last year with Lakers where he was 40yrs old. He played 18 seasons where he only missed 10gms total. 1,344 out of 1,444. Karl Malone has been called everything outside of a cheater who used PEDs lol

Horrible comparison. Stockton is not nor ever has been considered a great scorer. You were probably better off using his total assists instead.
The point remains if you’re capable of being an all time leading scorer? The one thing you need on your side is to be available to play in games to do that. If you’re taking something that allows you to remain on the court more than your peers? Then you are able to accumulate stats. The greater you are the better your stats can be. The argument isn’t PEDs made LeBron James great. It’s PEDs (if he even took them) allowed LeBron to play as many games and for as long as he has to achieve such feats. Follow?
-
Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
You specifically said the only reason why LeBron is the all time leading scorer is because he's played the most games.... which is a fvckin dumb thing to claim.
Robert Parish played in 1,611 games (50 more than LeBron) but scored 19,000pts less. Why isn't he the all time leading scorer?

Another terrible example used. Like I said you dudes be having these undeveloped mindsets here that’s disturbing. Or maybe that’s not it. You’re just addicted to not seeing the point out of habit. Which is a bad habit of course.
Yeah man people who take PEDs to keep them playing has no direct result on any statistical feat they achieved because they would’ve achieved it had they not taken PEDs. Got it. The logic you display is rubbing off on me…

Right, a guy like Wilt worked out with The Terminator who admittedly took steroids. And they've been readily available for athletes since the 60s maybe even sooner. We never blinked at David Robinson looking like a Greek god, or Kemps standout explosive ability. Theres so many others we could point that eye at but haven't. Mj, the famously ruthless competitor that will use any means to gain an edge on the opponent, is somehow above suspicion when they didn't test for even a fraction of what these guys pop dirty for today? Or is it becuase it was legal or not yet know to sports science in their era and we give them a pass? I've always been interested in the mechanics behind theses statements.

Re: Do you really think Lebron has never used steroids?
Absolutely.
But... I think just about every top guy has. When the difference between good and great is 100m or 200m, you bet your ass you are using something to get there. We all would.
Bron just happens to be a hyper responder to whatever he took, and reaped more benefit than others.
Not just that, I'd say basketball and baseball are more likely to be even more rampant than football given the gruelling schedule.
