NFL Season 2025
Well the last few days we have...
- Aaron Rodgers went to the Steelers for one year.
- The Browns are rumored to want to trade for Kirk Cousins from the Falcons because Atlanta wants to move on to Penix Jr. If this is true I find it kind of comical considering their current plethora of quarterbacks.
- Packers didn't want to pay Jaire Alexander and he got released.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Chiefs will make the Super Bowl. The Eagles I can see coming out of the NFC again.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
watch the eagles end up wth Jaire lol

Re: NFL Season 2025
No reporting on S.Sanders? He show up to meeting with headphones on? Media distraction? QB controversy? Anyone? Nah? Ok.
Looking forward to seeing what the rookies for the Eagles do.

He threw some good passes during OTAs and people were like ooohing and ahhhing over it. That's about it.

He threw some good passes during OTAs and people were like ooohing and ahhhing over it. That's about it. His father was more in the news on Asante Samuel's podcast saying that all the negative reports during the pre-draft were lies. Including Sheduer's meeting with the Giants and Brian Daboll were a lie.
Which makes no sense. If he DIDN'T interview poorly during the pre-draft meetings then why did he fall several rounds from his projection?

It’s he said/she said. Everyone is aligning with sides. What I want to know is where the mesia distraction at. Guess that’ll happen in preseason or regular season. Because teams don’t want that distraction yanno.
Sanders has performed better than Gabriel thus far and has been saying all the right things like he normally does even tho folks said opposite.

"
Sanders continued his strong spring, throwing a short touchdown in red-zone drills. On the play, he manipulated multiple linebackers by moving his eyes to his left before returning to his right and finding an open window to drive a pass to tight end Brenden Bates in the end zone.

No one really knows what he'll be until his third or fourth year if he's a starter during that time. I do think he has to get out of Cleveland to have a positive career though.

MIAMI -- Law enforcement in Miami-Dade County is seeking to arrest former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown on a charge of attempted murder, according to a warrant reviewed by The Washington Post.
The charge stems from a shooting Brown was allegedly involved in during a celebrity boxing event in Miami last month. The warrant shows a charge of attempted murder with a firearm; it also instructs Brown to post a $10,000 bond and remain on house arrest until trial, according to The Post.
According to the warrant, witnesses told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and two shell casings were found at the scene. Brown was unarmed at the time he was detained, but the man he allegedly punched during the altercation told police that Brown "began to run toward him with a firearm" after the fight had already been broken up and shot at him twice.

I've followed him on X for a short period of time. The man is insanely lost in his life. Definition of a narcissist and he craves the attention though. It'll be interesting because on X Brown said he was jumped.

Dumb yes, but it's pretty normal for young men with lots of money to do stupid stuff like this. If you're caught going 30+ over in Ohio that's a 4 point penalty out of 12 until you lose your license.

You don’t need lots of money to speed. Men with all kinds of incomes do it. Generally around that time 12-5am as the roads can be clear of traffic and you push it. In fact I’ve traveled during the day with traffic going 85 in a 65 or 55mph speed zone. And guess who speeds by me? Someone else. To think everyone is riding the actual speed limit throughout the day is someone who sits at home too much. Some roads you know where they will be posted. Some you don’t. Most times you do your 100 and get to wherever you need be without any issue. I’m not going to get on a soap box about Sanders doing 100 when Joe bag of doughnuts is doing it right now and his buddy will be doing it in 1am.

Also Jason kelce feels he has CTE. :(

Re: NFL Season 2025
It's almost a requirement for NFL players to speed and get cited for it.
He almost went as fast as his lottery number pick was.

Imagine you're driving at 3:40 in the morning, with your dog, no one is out on the road doing whatever and wearing your seatbelt. Then a car slams into you going over 120 mph and you SUV goes two football fields down the lanes after the collision and the SUV catches fire and you and you're dog burn to death while the person who hit you was drunk driving, not wearing seatbelts, Ruggs was halfway ejected from the corvette dangling out the car and they live.
Extremely said.

Twice this month :lol
According to a Medina [Ohio] Municipal Court record that was filed June 6, Sanders was pulled over by the Ohio State Patrol earlier this month. In that alleged violation, which took place June 5 in Brunswick Hills, Ohio, the Ohio State Patrol told WJW-TV that Sanders was stopped for driving 91 mph in a 65 mph zone.
According to the record, Sanders failed to appear for an arraignment for that citation on Monday and faces $269 in fines and court costs. He was then stopped by an officer for the Strongsville (Ohio) Police Department at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday morning for driving 41 mph over the posted 60 mph speed limit in a black Dodge TRX truck.

He killed a 23 year old woman and her body burned to a crisp.... 156 mph dude.
10 years at the bare minimum.... not 3.
You wouldn't be saying the sentence was fair if that was your daughter.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Speeding tickets aren't a big deal, but it just shows Sanders' maturity level. If anything he should be more careful about the things he does being a touted NFL draft prospect. He has an opportunity to make a name for himself in the NFL and a career. These things get analyzed under a microscope for pro sports athletes and eventually a few speeding tickets leads to drinking and driving, then drinking and driving leads to other drugs, then being totally intoxicated and causing a wreck or worse. Poor choices can can take your down a path of stupidity.

And you wouldn’t give your son 10 years minimum if he was in Ruggs shoes. What the f*ck is your point? You have none.
Like I said I have no affiliation with either family. I’m neutral. It’s a tragic accident no question but it wasn’t intentional, he has no prior criminal history, no character issues at all, showed remorse for the awful decision he was involved in. Remained in the scene. He took accountability for his bad decision. 10 years minimum is moronic.

Oh stfu with your dramatic nonsense. This is only typed because once again you like the media are infatuated and obsessed with Sanders. Moving violation is not NFL news. I don’t know what eagle has moving violations. You know why? It’s not reported. And quite frankly I don’t care. When Sanders is having great interviews, great camps, bonding with the team? No one cares. The energy isn’t nearly as loud as him getting a speeding ticket. That happens? Oh boy look out. He’s headed for self destruction! Yall so damn weird with the picking and choosing. He is still in prison, eligible for parole next summer. He will be out soon.
His case reminds me of my cousin's case. He was drunk, ran over and killed someone who was in the street setting a firework on 4th of July. He got 15 to life. He already had a history & fled the scene (people were trying to open his car door and whoop his ass after the incident)

Two speeding tickets. Driving over 100 mph in a 60 zone is one of them, that is pretty reckless behavior and news worthy.
One citation was for driving 101 mph in a 60 mph zone in Strongsville, OH. The other was for driving 91 mph in a 65 mph zone in Brunswick Hills, OH.

Details are very different but both were drunk and killed someone. He's been there 5 years now, he tried to appeal it last year but got denied. He's my first cousin, spend lots of time with him and his brothers as kids. Kinda drifted apart as we got older, dude was always getting in trouble, he was a hoodlum. My uncle (mom's brother) actually shot his Dad in the neck when I was a little ass kid because he was beating my aunt.
