damn, when is booker's bitch ass next :D
As a Houstonian, I do not approve ... oh well.
Rockets look nice.
thots from the number one suns fan on this forum:
not a great trade considering the fit (book - beal - green) very redundant at the guard position. it's possible they will try to use green and the 2nd rounders to make a trade package. regardless, it doesn't make the team better in any way. this team will put out very bad basketball. beal and booker is a lottery team, the rest of the players don't really want to be there either so it's going to be a long season. 35 wins is a best case scenario.
Tossed around the league like a 2 cent whore.
Great pickup for the Rockets as long as Durant stays healthy.
Green is clearly not going to amount to an actual impact player in the playoffs, Brooks is mid, and they didn't give too many big picks away.
What's the best lineup?
FVV
Amen
Eason
Durant
Adams
FVV
Amen
Durant
Sengun
Adams

Untouchable according to the Suns. Unless he asks to leave.

I don't think you start Sengun and Adams together. That's a matchup thing that worked in the playoffs, but not long-term in the regular season. VanVleet, Amen, Eason, Durant, Sengun makes the most sense to me at least.
Durant's quick-hitting off-ball mid-range game fits well with HOU's offensive rebounding and Sengun's post/elbow passing.

Up until this trade he wasn't tossed at all. This was the first trade where he wasn't asking out. The Suns tried to move him during the trade deadline without talking to him. It was his choice to leave OKC and go to Golden State, to leave Golden State and go to the Nets, to leave the Nets and go to the Suns. He dictated all those decisions.

Suns should be trying to trade Beal too if he lets them.

Terrible deal for the suns. They back where they started last season only worst. Beal has a no trade clause so you’re handicapped where he can go. Booker is the best value piece on the team. Suns might as well blow it up.
Meanwhile Houston upgrades over Jalen Green, creates room for young players by getting rid of Brooks (and his contract). And if the #10 picks turns into an all nba player it won’t be within the next 3 years. Just get Durant to sign an extension for 2 years. Roll the ball out and let’s hoop.
2nd rd picks? Blah, throw ins for trades like that. Durant 50-40-80 club. 27ppg, vet. Love it
Suns should be trying to trade Beal too if he lets them.
he won't lol. they've had talks and his wife "loves living in Phoenix". sounds like she wears the pants in that relationship. he makes the locker room awkward bc they could have had jimmy butler if his dumbass waived the ntc.
Durant at 36 is still a plug and play scorer. Green was never gonna be that guy. Houston wants to win now but what are the suns doing? Is this supposed to be a rebuild or a reload? Green book and Beal is a disgusting backcourt to have in this era.

Both Green & Brooks are inconsistent. Brooks is a bum on a bad contract. Big W for Houston, even if Durant is old.

i don't understand what the end goal is for booker. waste his prime in phx? do the suns want to hold on to the only player that can sell season tickets? because he sure as hell is not leading this team to the playoffs.

Brooks was the ‘glue guy’ so it seemed like a sacrifice but Rockets got a lot of potential glue guys, roughneck defenders in the bag with amen, tari and Jabari. This was good upgrade for Houston. Chip windows are so small these days.

He would be gone if he je would
Not quite the 1st round package you envisioned for the old man

That 2nd one would be nasty.
The main thing the Rockets lacked was go to superstar scorer... if Durant is healthy thats fixed.

If he's healthy, Rockets should be a contender. It's just that he never seems to be healthy when it matters...
Houston giving up on J Green already? Damn Houston fans were telling me he was gonna be better than Harden.
HOU was +0.8 off and -3.7 def this season. I think they can reach +2-3 off and -3-4 def next season. So, +5 to +7 SRS range. Contender status but behind a few teams.
Thunder should still be easily better. Durant isn't washed but he's not the type to carry a team for a who ke season anymore. When he plays him and Sengun should be difficult but he is likely to miss a lot of games.
Rockets with the huge upgrade, swapped a bag of shit for KD..
Add a few vets for the bench and they’ll be in a great spot for next season

Golden State exposed him. Hes mid. KD is like a top 25 GOAT.
Dont hate it
Swamplando gave up FIVE firsts for Bane

Yeah I have no clue. Suns are run by idiots.

He's like 21 though Suns have 3 starter level SGs now beal book green what are they thinking?
He's like 21 though Suns have 3 starter level SGs now beal book green what are they thinking?
I dont think they give a ****. Just blowing it up at this point. Hopefully Booker goes to a contender because hes shown some crazy performances on the playoffs. And Team USA considered him top 5 player.
He's like 21 though Suns have 3 starter level SGs now beal book green what are they thinking?
He's 23 and hasn't really shown any major signs of improvement.

I don't know what you mean?
"The Heat made multiple offers for Durant but ultimately turned down the opportunity to place Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmith, the No. 20 pick and other draft assets in a deal, sources said," wrote Charania on Sunday.

i would have preffered that deal...

unfortunately they are not trading booker. they already promised him a 2 year extension this summer while he's barely on year 2 of his contract :facepalm
As a Houstonian, I do not approve ... oh well.
Ugh, same. Guess I'll at least go see him while hes there though.
If suns can draft Khaman Maluach that would be great. Hoping he lasts til 10 requires some luck. The only other “big” would be Derik Queen but he’s not a rim protector/rebounder. He’s a nice talent to add tho at 10.
I’d ask Beal where he wants to go and get rid of him. Take pennies on the dollar. You screwed up adding him. You then went out and got Jalen Green. Booker/Green backcourt? Looking at suns roster I’m not seeing a whole lot of promise. Seems like not too long ago they were trending up.
