Both sides can admit there's something severely wrong with Newscum right?
The way this guy is now trying to pivot to the middle is pretty hilarious.
I have to say of all the politicians, he came off to me as the absolute most slimy. When people say the elites are secretly lizard people he is the first one I think of. Would not be surprised to learn that he is a lizard.
He's doing all these podcasts now and campaigning, I have to say it's the most shameless and hilarious campaign I've ever seen. So far his platform is essentially:
- "Democrats, including myself, have gone too far left and have done everything wrong for the last 10 years."
- "Republicans are bullies, so I'm going to push back on the bullies and show them who's really the man around here."
This has to be a first a nominee. Don't recall anyone ever campaigning on "I was wrong about everything but vote for me and I'll get it right this time..."
:oldlol:

Re: Both sides can admit there's something severely wrong with Newscum right?
democrats are so easy to expose because they don't stand for anything but the other guy being bad. it's why they love trump so much because they see him as an easy target. of course we all know the funny thing about it is that trump beat them twice, and damn near three times by just a very slim margin across three swing states in 2020.
republicans will at least tell you who they are and not only fight for their voter base but actually implement the policy aka walk the walk. immigration, trickle down economics, free market capitalism, tax cuts.
i made a thread not too long ago asking everyone what Democrats stood for. no one could give me a clear answer.

Really? Democrats are generally on the left side of the political spectrum while Republicans are on the right. Currently anyway. And generally speaking, they want progression. Although true progressives do not consider Dems to be that progressive. But all the major issues are generally on the opposite end of the GOP stances. More gun reform, more wealth distribution, helping immigrants rather than arresting them, etc. They are also the ones out in the streets declaring their beliefs, protesting, etc.

Both

Re: Both sides can admit there's something severely wrong with Newscum right?
I'll say that Democrats are the less extreme of the two parties. Biden admin was just barely left of center. While the Trump admin is pretty far right and captures the most extreme types. While most extreme progressives reject the Dems.
So maybe that is what you mean.

i don't think so. make an argument.

attacking illegal immigration is far right? the big beautiful bill is far right too? tariffs??? lol. sounds like republican orthodoxy 101 to me.
you can't pinpoint the biden presidency on the political spectrum because there's nothing to base it off of. that's why they're called the do-nothing democrats. it was trump bad, trump bad all campaign season. when they finally got into office it's, "what the *uck do we do now"?
-

The only part to debate is the economic part. They want the wealthiest to pay the most taxes, the want higher min wages, welfare, more available and affordable healthcare, more Gov spending on social services vs the military, etc
I mean, maybe they don't follow through as well as they promise, politicians are politicians. But that is what they "stand for" anyway.

I did in the quote lol. They are just barely left of center.
Answer me this, if the Democrats don't actually do anything. Why are conservatives terrified of them?

Kind of an important word you left out there.
The only way the dumbocrats want to help them is when it comes to voting. That's the only reason why they want illegals in the United States. That's already been established.

this is just absolutely ridiculous.
first you're telling me that they want this, that they want that but then you turn around and tell me, well... maybe they don't end up following through on it... but they're politicians so in effect the dem voter base just gets played in the end.
so they stand for nothing.

republicans are politicians too, bill. look at how this administration is following through. of course albiet the epstein fiaso, trump is... following through. for the most part, promises made, promises kept. at least trump is making moves on what he campaigned on.
obama stepped into office with a supermajority and did nothing. oh wait, he did pass romney care which was a huge handout to insurance companies.
biden intentionally got bullied by two of his own party members because his donors told him to do nothing and he did. that was a big show that the libs ate up like they usually do because they're none the wiser.
sorry, dems stand for nobody and nothing. they pay lip service to their voters during election season and at most pass woke legislation like juneteenth.

terrified? can you elaborate?

Re: Both sides can admit there's something severely wrong with Newscum right?
If your entire point was that they don't follow through on what they do "stand for" then you should have just said that instead of "they don't stand for anything".
Although I am not sure how they are any worse than the GOP there when we are seeing Trump fund Ukraine, and now the Epstein fiasco, etc. Both sides are guilty of this.
terrified? can you elaborate?
Really? Half of them believe that Democrats will lead to the literal destruction of society. The end of the world as we know it. They point to homeless shelters in San Fran and declare that is what the whole world will be. :oldlol:

alright well that's fair. so in a nutshell we can agree that Democrats are full of shit and don't enact policy that they say they're about?
i give trump no breaks on ukraine or epstein but he's following through on his domestic agenda, something democrats never do.

LOL what a crock of shit. Define extreme then. The Left are the ones calling for violence and to subvert the rule of law.

Severity is a relative term, I think he's smarmy in the way Mitt Romny was and it's weird this is an issue when Ted Cruz continues to be one of the faces of the party.

As a Californian I’ve been waiting for an Independent governor my whole life.
But partisan beyatches like Baller and Bill Gates mess it up every time.
California is way more of Democrat versus Republican freak show than people wanna admit.
