White House source tells me President Trump will be at the Lions-Washington game on Sunday. He will sit in owner’s box with Washington owner Josh Harris. The halftime celebration will honor military veterans and President Trump wanted to be there to see it.

The league itself defintely is and I'd say around 75% of the players are. The crowd may vary by city but most are within an urban setting, I do not feel like NFL games have a Nascar type gathering typically.

Considering the league is majority black that's probably true, but you've even seen a number of players do the Trump dance, including on Sunday. I'd wager the majority of white players, coaches and virtually all the owners though are Republican.

And Trump got booed like that due to the worst possible circumstance of being in DC, statistically the most liberal city in the country, and being there in the area most affected by the government shutdown. If that game is in Florida or Texas he'd be getting a standing ovation.

Florida maybe so. Texas I think is a no though. Dallas and Houston are both very blue. IIRC Jerry Jones had a big woke kneeling event with the team.
