Well then what does that say for the West?
The Hawks went 5-0 out west before coming home and losing to Detroit.
Celtics got hit with a nuke, Cleveland is underperformed (and I think Garland has been hurt). Knicks should probably also have a better record but I'm not sure what's up with them.

They took a voluntary downgrade at Head Coach.

Thibs may be better but he gets regilar season success by wearing out his team's core players. Woodson likely won't gameplan defense as well but having fresher players in postseason could make a positive difference.

Nah. The grit won't be there.
Similar situation to when Flip Saunders took over for Larry Brown in Detroit. Folks were excited at the thought that the offense would open up. And they did score more. But when it came time to buckle down & strap up, their edge was lost and they grew soft.

.[/QUOTE]LB led the Pistons to a chanpionship. Thibs got the Knicks to the conference finals. Good year and Im sure that upsetting the celtics was a high but losing to the Pacers showed they have a ways to go. And that was with Brunson bailing them out frequently. I am sure that Brown is also capable of riding Brunson.
Craptors? Is OP actually AirTupac?

How tf did you think of that name? lol
Craptors is somewhat common&AirTupac did not like Bron.

Kobe led the pistons to a championship. Larry got them to the finals

Larry Brown’s fraudulent, fickle, demanding mania …
… does not equal Thibbs defensive genius and genuine coffin nail grit.
Terrible comparison personally between the two men, albeit fair in terms of what occurred to the team itself.
Knicks did voluntarily downgrade, and it’s showing.
I guess fully healthy Brandon Ingram is the final piece of this contending Raptors.
Masai (forever may he be remembered) and Bobby built up a nice team
team has perfect talent and chemistry. 4th pick scottie barnes playing like an allstar best all-around game and ingram one of the most underrated scorers aka kd-lite mesh perfectly.
role-players are very good too and everyone on the team can defend.
its gonna be a fun season.
I'm still undecided if the Pistons are frauds or legit contenders. They're looking like contenders....but they've had a pretty weak schedule so far. The Rockets are the only good team they've beaten, but that's a pretty solid team to beat.

A team on 12 win streak and the other on 8 win streak deserve to be #1 & 2. It's that simple. Most of the Eastern conference teams are injured (mostly stars). The NBA has always been this way. The healthiest teams usually win.
Cry some more.
Raptors we are back and better than ever.

The East was pretty weak between 2001-2003, especially in the year 2002. That Nets-Celtics conference final was pretty bad. Afterwards, it was still easy getting to the finals in some years, such as 2015, 2018, 2019 or 2020.
