Maybe it's because you suck at your job?
Everyone tells me I'm good, but never got a tip for it. What gives?
What's your wage?
What's your wage?
Why does my wage matter? I do my job just like people at restaurants and barbers do theirs. I help them out and everything ... I want a tip for my good services dammit.
Do you work in hospitality?
Do you work in hospitality?
Nope. Do people that save lives get tipped, probably not, but the dude that brings your streak does ... wtf.

So you'd rather make nothing from your employer and get tipped than your current wage?

would you rather pay more for your food and not tip?
that is the only way idiot... dont be stupid.......
the restaurant/servers will get the same amount of money wether it is through your tip or your bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because dumbass servers don't get paid a legititmate wage like 10-15 dollars per hour. They get paid 2 dollars an hour and count on the tips to make up the rest.
What the fuck don't you understand about that?
You're probably getting paid a wage where you don't need tips to make up for a regular hourly wage. It's not a hard concept at all dude. You're being pretty thick.

Ok...but you get paid a decent hourly wage. Waiters don't and need the tips to make up the rest. Get it yet?
Why do people expect tips for doing what they signed up to do, knowing what they would get paid?
I posted in the other tip thread about how much do you tip, so you can judge there if I tipped well or not. But, seeing how f'n greedy people are, I'm not gonna tip anyone anymore. How dare anyone roll their eyes because they didn't get some complimentary cash for doing their damn job. I now see why businesses are more inclined to hirer foreigners for less, because even if you give the American what they deserve, they still have their hand out with this sense of entitlement.
If you take a job to work for 8-10 dollars an hour, you shouldn't go on message boards bitching about how the customer didn't pity you enough to throw you some extra change.

Nobody should be tipping someone who makes 8-10 dollars per hour.
