I love how UK is a #4 seed but have the 7th best odds to win the championship.
I'd like to bet on them at some point, but so would everyone else apparently. Tried getting tickets to the first round but any UK game is so expensive, it's ridiculous.
I did go to the championship in Dallas, but other than that, if you don't have a few hundred dollars laying around, you aren't going to get to watch them play.
Good luck to all!
No billion dollar this year, I'm out.
Such an open field this season.
Go Duke...love those white boys representing. Need Ingram to show he's the #1 pick, though.
is there somewhere i can just fill out a bracket without needing to login/sign up?
Sorry for the broken link guys.
This is the way to get in if you guys want in:

1. Find a Pool
2. Join a Private Pool
3. ID: 103958

Make sure you enter the $50K best bracket pool as well. You can do it with the click of a button, don't have to fill out your selections again.

isn't this a basketball forum? :oldlol:
how are there only 4 people that want to enter?
:banghead:
I got Kansas defeating Michigan St. in the Finals. I don't like either team.

North Carolina is practically unbeatable when their guards are hitting their shots. Best interior defense in the country.

Neither team will make the Final 4.
Providence will take out Kansas in 3rd round.
EDIT: Meant to say NC in 3rd round.
Michigan escapes, they are my darkhorse to win it all with that 3 point shooting  lol ok not really, but I'm a fan of them.
In here, discuss all things March/April Madness
The First 4 are done, Florida Gulf Coast and Holy Cross are the 16th seeds that move on to get massacred by 1 seeds.
Wichita State and Michigan are the two 11th seeds to move on and play the 6 seeds.
Which is your favorite 12th seed to win? There's usually 1 or 2 that shock the 5th seeds. I got Yale.

I wouldn't even be mad and I have Kansas winning it all. Jay Bilas said Prov. has the best PG in the nation. A win over #1 Kansas would catapult them to George Mason type hype IMO.

I put $5 on Providence to win it all :D
Pays $1625 :oldlol:
Got tickets for round 2 on Sunday in OKC. I'll see what this Buddy character's like live.
I made a $5 bet on Providence to win it all. Pays $1625.

Not a bad deal at all. Off subject, kinda regret not getting tickets to games when they were at the Garden a year or two ago. Never been to a college game live.

Bracket already busted :lol
Holy cross won
Bracket already busted :lol

I'm certain at least 80% had Holy Cross losing. I doubt people put that much time in that matchup. They just looked at the win/loss records and decided.
There's all this talk about parity, but I don't see too many mid or lower level seeds getting too far in this tourney, especially considering how the brackets are set up. Providence can easily go far in the tournament, but they go against UNC in the 2nd round, and they ain't getting past them.

They're cheap if you get a session AFTER the first set of games.
I got tickets to the championship game, lower level, for around $300 in Dallas the year UK played UConn.
Florida was favored that year, so when Florida lost, there was a flood of tickets from pissed off Florida fans who just wanted to get the hell home.
Maryland, Duke, UK, Seton Hall in the Final 4
I have two brackets entered. One with ESPN and one with CBS. They're not exactly the same, but I seem to be fond of Mich St., Maryland, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Xavier. With the one seeds poking through on one bracket or the other as well.
Maryland, Duke, UK, Seton Hall in the Final 4
i'd put up some dough that not one of these teams make the final four and at best 2 make the elite eight
The ncaa is so predictable. It's always the same fu##ing coaches and teams winning it.
I wouldn't be mad if Providence knocked off Kansas either, I'd be happy in fact. But I still got Kansas winning it.
Kansas
Oklahoma
Kentucky
MSU
MSU over Kansas
ingram is off to a good start, this is a huge tournament for him with simmons looking shaky right now as the number one pick.
my final four is
kansas
oklahoma
north carolina
michigan st.
Sketchy ass refs want Duke to lose so bad.

Two years ago the championship game was between an 8 and a 9 seed. It was UK and u Conn but still... if you kept up with the season, nobody predicted they'd make it that far.
My FF:
Kansas
Kentucky (I'm a homer, sue me)
MSU
TAMU
UK beating MSU
KU beating TAMU
UK over KU 76-71.
Smh I really chose UNCW at first but changed my mind the last second
Is Duke actually gonna get upset in the first game of the tourney? :lol
Is Duke actually gonna get upset in the first game of the tourney? :lol
Not when they have the best player in the nation (Ingram).
Not gonna happen.

really like Kentucky guards so don't think its homerish to say they can win it all

Other than last year, they're pretty much a guaranteed bust every go around.
2014 - Lost to Mercer first round.
2013 - Lost to Louisville in the EE
2012 - Lost to Lehigh first round
2011 - Lost to Arizona in the SS
They won the championship in 2010 but before that, they hadn't made the final four 5 years in a row.
So in a nut shell, in the past 11 years, they've won two titles, while 8 of the other 9 years they didn't make it past the elite eight.

Are you kidding me? UNCW is getting hosed right now.
Yea, I remember in 08 when they lost to Eric Maynor and VCU in the first round. That was kind of the start of their 1st round upsets.

The four #1 seeds have a combined 23 losses this year. That's more than any other year in the history of the tourney.
The field is wide open.
The tourney is pretty boring this year, no players to watch or stories at all. Hope it changes after the first round.
