At what point does Jordan stand up and pass a flaming torch to Kobe?
In the locker room after the game, buddy. A torch in the middle of the game is a fire hazard, buddy.
Frobe :applause:
just like how that one night in colorado forshadowed his haters rhetoric forever

Had to look up that '99 Warriors team on BBR because there were quite a few "I forgot he played for the Warriors" or "I forgot all about that guy" moments."
Starks led the team in scoring, at 13.8 PPG, with a sparkling FG% of 37%.

Frobe was a beast
Fascinating choice!
If I may, I'd like to present my own submission to the topic at hand. Here was have a clip of young Kobe giving us a taste of his signature footwork & shot selection:

Look at the gusto with which Baby Mamba took that shot (one of FOUR such in overtime!). We can even see the look of amazement on his coach's face, a look we'd come to appreciate down the line.
So even though Kobe had not, at the time of that clip, begun his run of PER™ titles, we can see that he already had the innate fearlessness of a chucker. Truly a treasure!
Warmest regards,
Ayotunde Ndiaye

Well, nothing against Kobe but you have to be particularly creative to put a positive spin on 4 airballs.
Wow, I remember this game.
LMAO @ Starks crying for a foul after Kobe chased him down and swatted his weak layup attempt. He blew an emotional gasket.
that's what he get especially for leaving tha knicks:coleman:

Or you have to be particularly butthurt to bring up something that happened to him as an 18 year old rookie right out of highschool in order to discredit him.
All while ignoring the fact that an 18 year old highschooler had more balls to take clutch shots than a 26 year old LeBron in his prime did.
amazing.
