Is Kurt Warner a FIRST BALLOT Hall of Famer?

Think we had this discussion before but cant recall what was said. He doesnt have the years/longevity (actually 6 noteworthy seasons which are pretty damn good ones at that) but he's accomplished some things in his NFL career.

he is probably hall of fame, if they win the superbowl this year, the he is definatly going in as one of the best of the modern era

first ballot, im not sure, but he definitely belongs in the hall one way or another. he has had a few down seasons during his career, but his ability to step it up in the post season and his laundry list of records and achievements should be enough to get him in.

I'm asking first ballot. He'll make the HOF. But is he a first ballot HOFer?

I think he is. Yeah, he wasn't relevant for a few years there, but these last 3 seasons + another Super Bowl last year appearance probably are enough to get him in. First ballot, probably not, but he'll get in IMO. He's done some incredible things and is in an elite group of QB's.

I don't think he's a first ballot HOF'er unless his team makes or wins the superbowl this year.

I thought he was a hall of famer last year already. I think he will definitely be a first ballot hall of famer now after last nights game.

If the Cardinal defense didn't let Big Ben waltz down the field in the 4th quarter during last year's Super Bowl, he'd certainly be a 1st balloter

Pretty much. The HOF voters are morons like that.

Without a doubt in my mind he should be a first ballot HOF. Last nights game cemented first ballot for me. He was already a HOF in my book. If they go to NO and beat them it is on.

Certainly not a first ballot, I'm not sure if he is a HOF QB, close but not quite... he lacks something, longevity maybe?

-4x Pro Bowler
-2x First Team All-Pro
-3 Superbowl appearances
-1 Superbowl win
-1 Superbowl MVP
-2x MVP
-Led the league in completion percentage 3x
-Thrown over 4,000 yards 2x
-Led the league in touchdowns thrown 2x
-Led the league in quarterback rating 2x
-6th all-time in passer rating(only retired player with better rating is Steve Young)
-Tied for 7th all-time in yards per pass attempt

A lock for the Hall of Fame without a doubt. As for first ballot, I would say yes. Some may disagree, but his stats are still much better than many others despite playing longer than Kurt. He has multiple Pro Bowls, All-Pros, Superbowl appearances, and MVP's. He has a Superbowl MVP, has led the league in major categories multiple times, and compares with other Hall of Famers.
