50/40/90

Do you guys think Steve Nash has a chance to get into the 50/40/90 club again next year?

Discuss.

With his age and now having to be the 2nd option it may be hard to get 50% but... im not gonna say he cant coz he is a really good player... he deffinently has a chance but it will be hard imo

I think him not being as high of an option helps him to be 50%, seeing as he wont get as many shots, it should make his % higher, I think.

50% fo sho'

yes he's older, but that just means less energy...1 year older doesnt detract from your skillset and mess up your form. nash will always be a good shooter, playing on 20 or 30 minutes a night, i can see 50 for sure. maybe high 80's though for free throws.

Why would the FT go to high 80s and not in the 90s? I dont see him getting worse in FT.

I think he could easily average those again this year. One year won't take away his ability to shoot as well as he does.

With Shaq of the picture and Hill getting older Nash may have to put up more shots... that could potentially lower his FG%

Yes I know that but we have other players to such as J-Rich, Leandro Barbosa, Amar'e Stoudemire and even Grant Hill. Nash won't have to put up more shots. Pass first PGs can't turn into a shoot first PG with the type of play that Nash has.

I dont think Nash's FG% will decrease. I think he will(without Shaq) be using people like Amar'e, Barbs, and J-Rich more then they were used last year. Not to mention Earl Clark and Grant Hill.
