Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
The last 10 times a team losing 3-1 won big in game 5 that team then went on to lose game six 9 out of the 10 times. Pretty ominous for Orlando:

2010 West First Round: Mavs win Game 5, 103-81, lose to Spurs in Game 6, 97-87.
2010 West First Round: Nuggets win Game 5, 116-104, lose to Jazz in Game 6, 112-104.
2009 West First Round: Blazers win Game 5, 88-77, lose to Rockets in Game 6, 92-76.
2008 West First Round: Rockets win Game 5, 95-69, lose to Jazz in Game 6, 113-91.
2007 East Semifinals: Nets win Game 5, 93-82, lose to Cavaliers in Game 6, 88-72.
2007 East Semifinals: Bulls win Game 5, 108-92, lose to Pistons in Game 6, 95-85.
2006 East FInals: Pistons win Game 5, 91-78, lose to Heat in Game 6, 95-78.
2006 West First Round: Suns win Game 5, 114-97, win Game 6 vs. Lakers, 126-118.
2004 East Semifinals: Heat win Game 5, 94-83, lose to Pacers in Game 6, 73-70.

Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
Hey, at least it's Atlanta that Orlando is up against. If any team could screw this up, it's the Hawks!
This series has been f*cking great. SMH @ people calling it the worst of the first round.
Of course its been great for you, you're a Hawks fan! For Orlando fans and anybody who isnt a fan of either team, this series has been a boring, messy load of dog sh*t!
Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
This is the worst series of the first round..
Im trying not to offend atlanta fans but they are so shit to watch. The magic arent much better though imo... Whoever wins is going to get dominated by the bulls i think so not like it really matters.
Orlando without the 3 ball= Dwight can have 40+ and they still get pumped...
They are both so inconsistent but I think the magic take game6, I dont think id put money on that though:oldlol:
+1
ATL get out to early leads and then don't score for 4-5 minutes stetches, other than isolation jumpers or pick and roll jumpers or long 3bombs. They hardly drive to score.
Orlando either pounds the ball to Dwight and he gets hacked and/or scores. Or runs a series or pick and rolls which ends up with a big man taking a long jumper or one of the ball handlers taking an off balanced shot.
Why does JSmoove routinely want to switch onto Howard? Quit it, he is killing you, this aint AAU anymore hommie, Dwight will score 10x out of 10, that shit aint valiant, its 'tarded
This is not the forgotten series, it is the most boring series.

It was the same story two years ago in the first round against Miami. The series went 7 games and completely sucked.

:lol
How does ATL have so many athletes yet they cannot put together a string of exciting ball? Even their 3 balls don't give off any excitement
Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
I'm pretty worried after the way we played on Thursday
Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
To the "Magic fans" in this thread giving up on the Magic and expecting the Hawks to beat us down, you're stupid.
Why are you stupid?
They lost game 4 by 3 points. 3 fucking points. They shot 2 for 23 from 3 point range. 2 for fucking 23. All they have to do is hit 4 of 23 and they win the game. 4 of 23 is absolutely fucking terrible, and it would have won them the game.
They lost game 3 by 5 points. 5 fucking points. They shot 8 for 28 from 3 point range. 8 for fucking 28. All they have to do is hit 10 of 28 and they win the game. 10 of 28 is absolutely fucking terrible, and it would have won them the game.
What are the chances that they have another 2 games sucking complete ass from 3? I'd say slim to none. The key for the Magic will be not going to Dwight Howard on every single play, because no matter how good he is as an individual on offense, the entire team stagnates when he dominates the ball because of Stan's lack of offensive game plan.
The Magic will win the last 2 games unless Stan continues to be an idiot and continues to go to Dwight all the time. The Magic are a better team when Dwight is not the primary option on offense.

Well seeing as they routinely have games of 3-20+ shooting 3s, i'd say the magic are a good chance of losing the series...:lol
Theyve been the same all season, one night they look awesome, the next game they are all bricking 3s and look like trash...
Re: Orlando and Atlanta - The forgotten series
lol this series has been on nba tv like 4x

Show me one stretch(stretch meaning relatively short time frame) of games this year where they made only 3 3-pointers when attempting 20+

Exactly how are people saying this series is shit when only 3 games have been nationally televised.
